After actively posting again on this discussion board, I came to know some very interesting ideas and playing methods that I used and failed miserably before. Although I am big on using a moderate Martingale, I am always trying to have an open mind to all sorts of ideas. Right now, I consider myself a successful grinder of the game and by no means an ADVANTAGE player. My mindset is trying to keep my head above water so to speak. All hopes of winning BIG is totally abandoned until NOW.

What is an advantage player? A player who seems to lose very little on a bad day and usually wins a little on a normal day and wins big on a good day. Hence the word ADVANTAGE. You will hear countless advices on playing low and less when situation is bad and play higher and more on situations that are good. So true and every player knows that but how are each doing so far? That's the reason why playing from Flat Betting to Martingale is used. Some even do the positive betting.

Some tried to gauge the flow of the shoe which is pattern recognition. Some tried to react to the win/loss phases and bet accordingly. With all these mindset, it's time to go into the little things. Talking very generally in Baccarat is always theoretically right but what about the practical side. Your every move?

    My plan is this:
!. Take a manageable loss if situations is not permitting. How much? 10 units the most and it could be less.

    2. No limit to wins. The sky's the limit BUT have to content with smaller wins according to the plan.

    3. Grinding with Flat Betting for extended period is utmost importance to get one settled down and at the same time to enable the good phase to come.

    4. Use a short Martingale to 'rescue' when the going is tough to enable player to get back on the offense.

10 unit bankroll and flat bet reading the shoe. Stop loss at -3 units. Use 3 step Marty to rescue 2 units. After that flat bet again. If 2 unit goes down again, tell yourself you had your chance and quit.
Worst scenario is -10 units which is -3 with flat betting and -7 with Marty.

If win units gets to 3 and goes back to even, win 3 units is your goal and quit after that. If win units reaches 5 and up, the sky's the limit. If it drops back to 3, quit.

    Any suggestions on this approach?

    Nice
Seems pretty well rounded plan. That incorporated with YOUR selection criteria seems very doable.
I like the concept of rescue Marty and I will keep it in mind with my approach.
I would think you would twig your above suggestion up or down after you have trialled it , getting that sweetish spot.
    Good post. Cheers
