Good morning/evening to people of goodwill.

So the overall message of this thread is baccarat is the best small business and the thread has gone on to discuss everything under the sun.

As in the business world, there are many approaches to make a profit. So too, should there be for baccarat. What I had proposed is but one and always, with a caveat emptor that you should tailor it to fit your personality.

Some have discussed Oscar’s Grind (OG) as a methodology with a Banker always bet. Jae has posted very detailed description of his methodology and it would seem that it is replicable. His was a report of success and Bejustrich tested it live and reported success although with some heart stopping moments.

OG may just work for some. But dont do the negative Martingale. No matter how loud and long the dog barks, its an express ticket to the morgue.

New method? Not really have one actually.... Besides any method will have its ups and downs imho...

I believe this thread is about the correlation between Bac and business from LY's perspective....

I think some have excellent understanding of bac but lack with the others...

Some may cook a better fried chicken than KFC, but can't build the business...

And to build a business isn't an easy task, not mention keeping it running well and profitable...

    It's a neverending lessons....

Ya Garfield, for those who have been in business before, they would know of the many, many challenges, on a daily basis, that need to be confronted and surmounted. Truly, it is no different from baccarat as a business.

One can condemn the necessary attributes and control mechanisms suggested here as too ideal and robotic but then go on to propose a kamikaze negative Martingale approach must surely be sent by the casinos as an express ticket to the morgue.

Interesting point of view ND. Somewhere in this thread, I had alluded to the fact that I was looking at having teams play and multiplying the results. I had sn unfortunate start to the effort and abandoned it.

You see from the standpoint of a manufacturing business, from an investor perspective, if you have a factory worker you pay say $40,000 a year, you expect him to produce profits of say $60,000 a year so that you make a profit of $20,000/yr. so if you have a scaleable business operations and you have 100 of them, then you can possibly make 100x 20000 or $2million.

OG as discussed by Jae is scaleable as it is replicable. It is a basis for a start. I think it can be fine tuned further. It is a methodology I can keep an open mind about. The SOPs are fixed and it reduces the discretion allowed. The regular deep drawdown is indigestible as it is. But I suppose it can be improved upon.

That’s just like... your opinion, man. I mean, it’s wrong, but I’m sure you’re quite used to being wrong at this point in life. *kisses buddy*

To draw an analogy, ND runs a high end Michelin starred Robuchon restaurant. He will not entertain the mass fast food restaurant concept. :joyful::cigar:

We thought it would be of interest to some players to post this positive regression 3-2-1.

    Enjoy.

I had my secretary of 30+ years read and understand the OG and test it in an online casino. Told her to do repeats. If B bet B, if P bet P. Unit of $5. Gave her bankroll of $1000 which is 200x.

She understands the game as she has followed me to the casino several times. Married, senior and good temperament.

She busted the bankroll in @9 hours. 2-3 shoes in particular where you have many alternates followed by 2-3 repeats which push up the unit bet and then followed by alternates again. Most shoes she can make > 10 units per shoe.

I dont yet have the psyche to do Jae’s deep drawdown. Max bet in this online casino is 200x so I couldn’t do a full blown exercise.

She concludes that in the fateful shoes, it makes her look like an idiot when the pattern was so strong and she keep betting for repeats. Just like when P repeats is so strong and we keep betting for B....

    Any comments ND?

Just curious if the online casino is a live dealer or RNG.

You already know my take on placement, always bet banker. I highly advise not to play with 200 units. It’s about the equivalent of doing a 5 tier martingale. You might get lucky, but it will still get killed.

I know that 2,000 units is a lot especially when betting $5.00 units, but even if the table has a $5.00 minimum, as long as you can bet in dollar increments, you can still play it in $1.00 units if you have a virtual trigger that you start using whenever the grind calls for a 5 unit bet. Which would equal $5.00

The crappy part about playing this system with $1.00 units is that you probably wouldn’t make the amount you want to make, and if you are paying someone such as a secretary an hourly wage, that may not even pay her salary.

but you can make it work!

this is where the proper money management comes in. Starting with $2,000 betting $1.00 unit size, if you can achieve a similar goal as my own of making 200 units per day, then it would take 10 days to double your bankroll—at which point you can go from $1.00 units to $2.00 units. Then it would take 5 days to make another $2,000 and increase your betting unit to $3.00. At which point you are making $600 a day. You can continue doing this, but at some point I’d recommend taking your profit and splitting your bankroll into two, a backup if you will. Continue the process. You can literally turn $2,000 into a million in less than 4 months.

    cheers!

Unfortunate but most cats on here are all about the shorts term where they wet themselves in fear over the prospect of gettin clipped for more than 3 loss in a rows. Cats think they can trend, guess, drive road their way into never facing any adversity and it's kooky fantasy land's thinking, hey hey.

    Hi Jae,

This is a live dealer online casino. I think the operations is out of Thailand. I cannot do your method yet as this place has a maximum bet of $1000. Actually I just found out minimum bet if $5 max is $500. If minimum bet is $10 maximum is $1000. Can change in settings but absolute max is $1000. So actually only 100x unit bet. So cannot do your methodology.

Jae, to clarify. So if start at a unit of $5, one can increase by $1 instead of $5?

So it will be like 5,6,7...? Instead of 5, 10,, 15...?

Also, when you say 2,000 units, and a unit bet of $5, bankroll would be $10,000? And bet increments are in 5, 10, 15..?

    Thank you

I am doing very well with my own formulations Soxfan. Thank you. And I trust you are doing well in real live play beyond some who do test stimulations all the time for self gratification.

Jae’s posts have been about real life play and results. I am fascinated because I think it then makes it scaleable and on a scale perhaps those on Guiness and cashew nuts may not be able to fathom.

But I still dont have the psyche to meet such deep drawdowns and I appreciate truly Jae’s patience and humility in the matter to explain.

Its like I am used to swimming in the pool but now wants to test the unseen depths of the sea.

While some may sit in front on the computer on some cheap alcohol they think is Guiness and some cashews instead of Macadamia nuts for class..

    Be guided accordingly

    No.

in order to do dollar increments, you have to virtually wait until OG is negative and the bet calls for a 5 unit bet. When that happens, you can now play $5.00. And then increase by dollars if it calls for that.
    Example.

    p-1 betting 1
    P-2 betting 1
    B-1 betting 2
    P-3 betting 2
    P-5 betting 2
    B-3 betting 3
    P-6 betting 3
    P-9 betting 3
    B-6 betting 4
    P-10 betting 4
B-6 betting 5 <—— at this point you could now bet $5.00 as the grind calls for, but essentially you are betting in $1.00 units, just waiting for an opportunity that you can bet the table minimum.

and you know that I personally wait for -20 before I bet, this is just -6, but you could start at this point. If the next bet wins, stop. Even though the series wouldn’t be over because it would be -1 betting 2, you can’t make that bet because of the table minimum.

a $5 minimum and $500 max table would actually work for the grind. But I wouldn’t use my starting unit size any bigger than $5.00 on that table. And no bigger than a $10 unit on the $10-1000 table.

The baccarats was my fulls time gig and my only source of active income for bit more than 12 years, thanks. Im don't think that any other cats on here buck up against the proposition for their only source of income other than Jae. I average about 200K Cdn$ per year so I take the thing serious and have little time for bullshits and nonsenses what cats spew forth here on regular basis. But at least the blows hard, winds bag, retard, coconut, knows it all, knows nothings types on here provide some top notchs entertainments, hey hey.
