Soccer can be fun but sometimes people hype it too much. World Cups were awesome growing up, in the 90's and early 2000's when they were on other countries. My favorite one was when we won in Japan/S. Korea, I just knew we would win. Then there was 7x1. That, I think, was punishment for spending so much money we couldn't afford to host an extravagant World Cup. The stadiums are all rotting now. It was the same in the 50's when we hosted it and lost to Uruguay. But just wait, in 30 years everyone will forget all that and someone will have the brilliant idea to try to win the cup again one more time at home. And we will probably not gonna be able to afford it again but guess what? Brazilians never give up.

 

You savvy investors and so called informed businessmen. You all missed the real deal here. I got LY to give me money without him attaching his 70% strings attached to it. Now he's the saint of the world for being so magnanimous. I would have never taken the deal had he insisted on that requirement. But now I'm 100% sure what went down. I was worried at first he might come back at me for that percentage. So I was very careful what I said. Could you imagine being tied to someone in perpetuity for the unfair amount required in a deal like that? I know many businesses make those sacrifices for seed money. It's not an uncommon percentage. I disagree here. "Dysfunctional" people are more likely to go around distributing gold. That's what makes this whole stuff more credible. Totally "normal" people would usually keep it to themselves. But they would probably not come up with the idea in the first place.
