It’s the time you may consider betting more or adding hands since the house has lost its customary edge.

    Reasons:

The house edge is normally a bit less than 0.5% in S17 (dealer stands on soft 17) blackjack games, and less than 0.7% in H17 (dealer hits on soft 17).

1 AceMT true count means that the remaining shoe has one surplus high card (Ace, K, Q, J or 10) per deck. It also means that a non-high card (2 thru 9) is missing.
The combined effect of the two occurrences means the deck has changed by about +0.86% in favor of players.

PS: 1 AceMT true count = 1.625 Hi-Lo true count.

I think there is zero % chance that casino at least in US and Canada are gonna cheat a cat. So the notion that yer gonna encounter the crooked dealer is absurd, hey hey.

This thread is on the meaning of AceMT true count. I will focus here on comments related to AceMT only.

The fact that 1 AceMT True Count = 1.625 Hi-Lo True Count has important applications. You can convert a known Hi-Lo deviation index into the corresponding AceMT deviation index thru a simple division operation. No need "TO REINVENT THE WHEEL."

Examples of Deriving corresponding AceMT Deviation Indices in Blackjack from Known Blackjack Hi-Lo Deviation Indices:

    Example #1:
Under basic strategy, no insurance is always the case, but Hi-Lo users know that blackjack players should buy insurance when Hi-Lo True Count is +3.
Question: What is the corresponding AceMT True Count for insurance buying?
Answer: 3/1.625 = 1.85, Say at AceMT True Count +2 for approximation.

Example #2: The Hi-Lo deviation index for changing from hit to stand for 16 vs. 10 is +0.
Question: What is the corresponding AceMT deviation index for 16 vs. 10?
Answer: 0/1.625 = 0, So AceMT user shall change from hit to stand when AceMT true count is a larger than 0 positive number.

Example #3: You find from a book you trust that the Hi-Lo deviation index for surrendering on 8-8 vs. 9 for S17 (dealer stands on soft 17) 4-deck blackjack is +7.
Question: What is the corresponding AceMT 8-8 vs. 9 surrender index in 4-deck shoes?
    Answer: 7/1.625 = 4.3, Say+ 4.5 for easier memory.
