4 dealers and supervisors always around. I never see them make mistakes; but sometimes the scanner doesn’t read a card and there might be a technical difficulty, but I generally gets resolved within minutes.

What a poser pretending he doesn't read posts. Sitting in front of Party Poker 5 days a week for the last 2 years really messed your brain up. Hahaha. You've become a caricature of yourself. LOL. Pathetic.

Thanks for the reply Rinad. I realize that its difficult to get a direct answer on this forum, but more importantly, it causes me to assume that there is far fewer players who are winning consistently then I originally thought. I was reading some of your other posts on this forum and in one you mentioned that you use a 6 step martingale strategy (1,2,4,8,16,32) with baccarat, is that still the case? It would be interesting to understand how you play in further detail if you care to share and I agree with you on sharing with those will support you. Not sure why there are so many negative replies on this forum, after all.. aren't we are here with the common goal to make money and discuss various ways beat the game?

If I might interject. I myself have "taken advice" from recreational players on the topic of what games are FUN-TO-PLAY when I had guests visiting from out of town. Almost nothing I have ever played was fun or recreational, tedious and boring might better describe them...not to mention the learning curve of how long it would take me to train anyone before they could play with an edge.

I mean seriously, it would take me at least two months to get someone new up to speed... Most people don't visit that long, so their trip would end (with me as tutor) before they'd played their first hand.

Therefore, on the topic of what's fun, or what games give you the most action, or best comps, I think the recreational players are a wealth of knowledge, and it's all stuff I certainly don't know.

I agree with Soxfan that casual recreational players are generally not a source of solid mathematically proven strategies for playing with an edge. That being said!

We must be kind, friendly and sensitive to all recreational players, as without them no Professional gambler would exist. Kapish?

I like this comment very -- very much.

Oddly, I'm here in part to try to figure out why there are so many negative replies on this forum.

Thirty years of professional gambling left me with an existential crisis of conscious that is driving me into the field of cognitive research psychology.

Given my life experience, I am only qualified to teach people gambling with an edge, or possibly (I hope) try to figure out why so many people gamble with the odds against them...

I am 100% willing to share any of the ways I made a living gambling. Just FYI...

I'm 99.9% sure you're asking me about my Baccarat method. I'm sorry to report to you that 99.9% of my earn was from progressive VP and slots.

While managing a Baccarat team I had to sit there for hours on end watching all the Baccarat players under my auspices. I became very bored and decided to learn a count system for the tie. So while the sponsored players I was watching for honesty were tracking P&B wins, and employing bizarre betting strategies, I was card counting and placing the occasional bet on the TIE. Honestly, just to keep myself awake.

If memory serves, I made roughly $3,800 over the course of several months of watching other people lose all their money. The whole endeavor was not worth my time. I made FAR more playing progressives. I only did it as a favor to my Mother, who was friends with the investor and the "consiglulari" of the Baccarat team.

One ended up homeless, and the other sleeping on my couch for four months, until I had to ask him to leave when he stole money from me.

Let the record show, I did warn them, and I did just fine.

Counting for the TIE seems to work, and it's mathematically sound, however it is not a living wage, and in the circles I frequent would not be considered "A Play"...

    1. Find a game with some sort of progressive Jackpot
    2. Calculate the frequency of that Jackpot
    3. Calculate the hold of the game and determine how much you are expected to lose (on average) to hit the Jackpot.
    4. Play only when the amount you are expected to lose is less than the amount you are expected to win.

It's not rocket science. It's much harder than that:)

I just reread my responses to your question and realized that many of the terms I used might be unfamiliar to you. If you need more info or extrapolation on anything I said just ask. I can even go into a dissertation on binomial therom and combinational math...

Are you really that naive? He's scared to death that someone, like me, will actually test it for real find out that it's worthless. Just like I did with his suicide 12 step when he claimed made four units shoe. After a pretty exhaustive 693 shoe test betting approximately 45,000 wagers it showed a 4 unit loss!!!

Why do you think he doesn't play it? The guy's an ego trip looking to be a big deal on the forums.

Luck is just a layman's term for variance. Using bet selection, betting technique, and discipline is a learned skill to overcome variance.

Very bold of you to say that I would agree. That being said, I would not "disagree":)

I would only add that variance is a normal part of all games of chance that involve a random element. It is neither unexpected or unwanted. The only issue is that our brains are so primed to interpret positive outcomes as having done something good (something right) that we should attempt to rinse and repeat, the cause of logical thought is often lost in a Sargasso Sea of random chance--that had nothing to do with us...

I firmly hold to the paradigm that no course of action can or should be judged by its outcome. You can only judge decisions by the process that went into making those decisions.

I am nearly alone in this sentiment.
