I'm seeing a lot of misinformation from people. That clearly don't know anything about how the Casino Business operates.

    Casinos Are A BUSINESS

The Casinos are a business. They make money because EVERY game they have has a statistical advantage for them in the LONG TERM.

Just like in sports betting they want action on both sides EVENLY. Because all they want is the profit from the JUICE. Same for the House Edge.

Why They Don't Need To Cheat

First of all. The casino's don't need to cheat. Players are dumb enough to donate in droves to the casinos.

In Nevada we have GCB and they have regulations and standards all the casinos abide by.

I personally know countless Interblock and Aruze and various other technicians.

The Airball roulette machine is well known and even categorized by GCB to be a "slot machine" because the RNG inside of the game insures that its abiding by "random".

There is a chip inside of every slot machine that maintains the hold of the machine over Thousands of Spins.

    Does the Pit Cheat?

Roulette wheels are serviced constantly and even have a bubble balancer to insure no funny business.

This doesn't prevent wear and tear on the wheel. But the wheels are maintained especially when the statistics from Visual Limits are being reported to the Casino. If the game is starting to abnormally payout they will call interblock to maintain the wheel.

They even swap the dealers out every what 30 minutes. So you can't even get a dealer signature down to exploit.

Everyone in surveillance is trained to count cards.

Trust me they know what there doing in extracting your money.

But they DEFINITELY don't need to cheat to do that. People will happily flush there money down the drain.

    For people who don't know
Visual Limits is that little electronic board you see that displays the min and max bet. On the reverse side is a tracker that tracks the players position on the table there average bets and it also tracks how good the table is doing for the casino.

These statistics allow them to make sure they are still in business and players aren't cheating them.

    End

You can argue your conspiracy theories all you want. But the games are designed to make you lose. So you can't complain when you lose that they are rigged.

They are DESIGNED to short pay you. But they aren't cheating you. The math is right in front of you. They are paying you 35 and there is 38 pockets.... that's there edge 3 pockets.

Thank you. I have been saying this for years and am constantly laughed at and called names. A dead giveaway for this is when you win over $1,200 somebody comes and pays you just like they do with a slot machine. Because the airball roulette is just a slot machine in that it will not pay out more then it's programmed to pay out. It can place the ball in any section of the wheel that it wants and it regulates the payouts by avoiding heavily bet sections when it needs to. It's not cheating anymore than a slot machine cheats. But the outcomes are not random, they are kind of sort of random. I was told all of this by a casino employee years and years ago when he saw me playing airball and he knew I played the regular roulette all the time. He explained to me how they were two different games.

    Spike and anybody else.

The casino should not have to cheat. What they probably don’t like is big placed bets covering, a large number of numbers, i.e., 24.

Now Aspers casino, like other casino let you play the live table on the touchscreen. But Aspers obviously didn’t like players when busy being able to cover say 24 numbers.

Now they have you play a wheel on a podium, using the touchscreen. The wheel is up about 6ft 4”; so, you’d have to go on tip toes to see the actual wheel. Yes, there’s the monitor showing the wheel. You can see the dealers hand get the ball.

Like some might say are you now seeing a video clip giving the number, remember the pay-out is instant. Computerised.

Before this happened; I could with paper tracker, play Winkel’s GUT or KTF because when table is busy, could lay 24 numbers and even have to wait while they paid out.

So, Aspers changed it. No live table play on touchscreen, only the wheel on automated touchscreen.

What you have to watch, is to see if the law of the third is there. If you keep getting say only 17 of the starting 37, it’s too far off.

23/24/25 of the starting 37 is fair.

When you start to play the larger group is there, that slowly depletes. Like the clicks.

it is somewhat contradictory to said the airball gives real random outcomes and yet the machine can Trow the ball where ever it decides.
I dont have a problem knowing the airball is fixed just like a slot machine but it is designed to deceive players in thinking it works like a real live wheel. try to cover 11 single streets and see what happen. or better yet .many of the interblock machines dont let you make a high ec bet and play a low dozen at the same time. they dont need to do that since they have a edge. but so why do it ? simple answer; Greed.
it is true that many casinos dont cheat and that players can just be deceived while having a run of bad luck. but to their defense it is not always their faults either. I have seen too many weird things happen in casinos. the house edge is obviously not enough or they would rely solely on that to show profit. I just wish they would be more honest on those airball machines and let players know what they are dealing with instead of misleading millions into thinking they are the real thing. good post. thx
    Cheers .

They're not misleading anybody any more than when you sit down to a slot machine there's no written directions that explain to you how it works. That it's not fair, that it's programmed against you. Why should they explain anything on the airball. It's up to you as a player to educate yourself the casino lets you think whatever you want to think. Back in the days when I used to try and wise people up I would tell them you know you can never get ahead on the slot machine and stay ahead over a period of time. They would look at me like I lost my mind, some even called me a liar. Casinos depend on people being uneducated and staying uneducated.

well I disagree , when I sit down at a slot machine I know it is a slot machine. when the average joe sits at a airball and see a wheel ,a ball trowned into it, he is not thinking "nice slot machine", and nowhere does it says "slot machine" on there. so of course they are misleading or no one would play them. and I have talk to many tecknicians over the years about how they work, you know many think they are no different then real wheels while some are not even sure . even on this thread players dont agree , some said it is honest and others would said the ball has selected a number all ready before it fall in a slot. not misleading ? even speaking to veteran roulette players I have seen many change their opinions over the years, sometime they just dont know why they dont act always the same way, balls droping without any bounces for a hour, then it is different.
you see, even those trying to educate themselves about it, they will vary in their opinions, and unless you speak to a manufactor directly you wont know squad. or maybe you can buy yourself one and there you have it, the truth. like in a grocery store, you can read the label on a package and think you know what you are getting, but you dont always take the time to investigate the item you are buying. and probably you should take more time and yes, throughly educate yourself at all time for everything you are getting yourself with, but 90% wont take that time, just a fact.
are they idiots ? no, just humans beleiving what they are told or looking at. and we are not so much better then they are.
casino cheating ? if I said they never do, I would not be telling the truth. if I said they do, I would not be telling the truth either.
that is why I said ; most dont, but some do. why not be balance since the extreme is obviously false, that is hard to do for humans who everything has to be black or white. i think we could all agree with the latter if we just take a deep breath . misleading ? no doubts. and by design of course.
    just my opinion .
    Cheers,

casinos are a business yes, but it is nice to see them conduct themselves in a good and fair manner. I saw a guy playing roulette once trowing his chips all over the felt and winning. he could hardly stand-up. by law they are not allowed to let a player be that intoxicated and play, yet it was during slow hours and they probably thought they could get away with it, because the player was winning a lot and they did not like it.
I had decided to go tell a guy on the floor about what was going on and that they should not allowed this guy to just blew his winnings and he was too drunk to play.
glad i did, they did something about it, went to the roulette table and stop it.
but only because they heard my complain, not because they were "nice guys". they knew if anything would happen later on ,like a car accident, a person being dead because of it, they could face a serious charge,
I dont think they all conduct a "fair business", again, just my opinion.

The complaint by a customer was the correct procedure to follow in this case.

Which to 99% of the people in the casino means nothing. They don't have the vaguest idea how a slot machine works. Ask them like I have. They are clueless. They have no idea how airball works, they are clueless. If all the players in a casino knew in detail how every game worked the place would be 90% empty.

a wise man said "people judge because it is easier to judge then to think" , and yes we dont ask questions because it is easier then investigate, to your point. but people go to the casino, mostly to have fun, and casinos do take advantage of that, a little too much if you ask me.
ignorance dont have to be a sin, but it sure is costly.

In everything for-PROFIT, to maximize it, at least a few steps are taken into the GREY area ..
& if able to 'conceal the art' even in black ..

    Don't be naïve.
