There's someone that state that "If you have the edge, you should play more because that means more profit"...

Tbh, I'm confused with this.... First of all, I don't understand wth "Having an edge" means...

Does it mean you keep winning in a row? Or as long as you still in profit?

Based on my experience, a winning streaks will end at some point. Let's say I'm following the chops like I did today, and I lost my last bet because it ended.

Should I keep on playing, because although I lost, I already have made the amount (target/goals/profits) that I feel is enough for my time and efforts?

And what if I keep losing after that? Let's say I lost several units, should I stop there or keep on going?

If I stop, then I had fewer profit.... Is that mean I didn't have the edge anymore?

This is too much for my cat's brain, so I decided to stop and ended the session...

Why make things complicated? Any thoughts?

Yet, you are still averaging 32 units a session and batting 10/10.

Garfield, I think you already know the answer to your question above.
You are quitting your sessions with modest gains and not getting greedy.
You can't regret quitting with a profit because who knows what the future cards would bring.

 

Thanks for the comment. I think it's very hard -near to impossible- to have more wins than lose regularly, no matter what bet selection you have....

But actually, beside the intentional sarcasm, I'd like to know how player can really tell he's having the edge, instead of living in fallacy...

 

Simple, the cat know he got the verify edge and advantaged if he can win well and regular on the strict bets-flat basis, hey hey.

@soxfan Win well and regular? I don't think it's good enough.... One should be winning non-stop with the edge, beyond fatigue and emotion.....

 

The proficient 21 cards counter got the verify edge and advantaged and at times they go 5-6 months of fulls-time play where they are in the deficit so think that yer expectations are far too unrealistic, hey hey.

My initial br gone too soon in the first session.... Have three clusters of 7 LIAR..

Rebuy in again with 1,600 and doubled the base bet from 20 to 40.

I was lucky to find and had 6 WIAR following small road (before there's long streak of blue), 1-2-4-7-8-15 (37u-com) and revert back to 1u(40) just in time when it changed side. (See attachment)

Ended my session by winning a tie, 200/5u (see attachment)

Everytime there's a strong row on bead plate, like PPPPP or BBBBB I like to bet the similar side with a tie bet....

I should've follow the chops on the main road, but I was hesitated. Beside I already got back my initial br and some profits...

The problem with playing online, you have to rely on signal.... Bad signal pretty much affected my play's today...

First session was a roller coaster ride...Won a tie bet but 8 LIAR followed by 9 LIAR made my initial br gone...

Buying in again with 1,800 and double my base bet...

Luckily, won another 2 tie bets so it kinda helped. All was still the same, following the same row in bead plate.

There's one tie bet when player 2 cards showed 0-0, 3rd was 6, and the banker first 2 cards were also 6, but into my surprised the banker must draw a third card.... it's an Ace.

All attachments were the won tie bet....

Garfield - have you ever considered regressing and locking in profits.
For example, staking 124 is 7 units and when reaching 4 units split the unit size by half.
