What type of wheel are you dealing on...meaning who's the manufacturer?
Do you by chance know the model?
As the wheel spins, have you ever felt the wheel spin below your fingers? If so, then...feel the back of the pocket. Let the wheel spin below your fingers. Do you feel any rise and fall to the pocket compartment?

Next, try the front of the pocket. Casually let it spin below. Same thing, feel anything?
How about the center wood cone? Do you see where the wood panel seams meet? As the wheel spins, do you feel any ridges?
As the ball bounces, do you notice a change in the sound of the ball bouncing when it encounters some areas of the wheel, or pockets?
If the wheel has colored pocket bottoms, then it has "inserts". Do some of the inserts feel as though they aren't as flat as the others?

Place your finger on the number tape. This is the part where the numbers are written. As the wheel spins, curl your finger slightly and let your finger nail lightly ride the tape. Do you feel any ridges?

The scope of your question(s) is a bit far-fetched, I'm the croupier not the director in a manufacturing company. Would you really expect casino employees to be testing for wheel imperfections? that isn't my job.

I'm employed by the casino to deal many games not just roulette. your questions are very unrealistic; have I stood there on shift testing each pocket size on a roulette wheel? No. Have I tested the sound the ball makes when bouncing in a busy live casino.. No Croupiers are taught not to be looking in the wheel as the ball drops as that's poor table security, opportunist could cheat on the layout or outside bets.

there's a million cameras on the gaming floor. Surveillance will investigate any suspicious activity so I'm not behaving in a manner which draws attention to myself; surveillance is also there to catch cheaters and dealer mistakes.

I have no reason to be suspicious of the roulette wheels unlike in the states. in my country casino operators are regulated by a gambling commission. Roulette wheels are manufactured using extremely high engineering tolerances that are now available to give a bias free wheel with a bearing system requiring hardly any maintenance. The gambling operator could lose their licence and be sued millions for wheel manipulation.

My casino uses a 3rd party manufacturer and I believe our current provider is https://www.cammegh.com/
Theres two wheel designs my casino uses classic mahogany and alpi continental . Hopefully this link can answer your question behind manufacturing.

As a croupier on the job, do you or have you ever tried to target a wheel section or even a specific pocket to fleece players? Or are you more likely to try and hit numbers that might help players win?

Or do you just spin the wheel mindlessly all the time and save your brain bandwidth for dealing with chips & payouts?

Yes "Tried" to in both those questions however can I accurately repeat those outcomes? No. Consider how many variables goes into targeting an area; #track, ball, mass, velocity (inc. direction). As well as the table is either a left or right hand wheel in my casino. Those are just a few variables under sensitive conditions that can result random outcomes. Interestingly our brain use different areas when performing tasks. In particular the motor cortex would be another variable when targeting an area. The practiced task my brain has repeated over and over. In addition memory is used a lot when it comes to run of the mill payouts.

I can do it on a good wheel. I can hit a section more frequently than probability says is possible. It's the wheel conditions that matter. And, it's pretty simple to do it. If the wheel has a good drop, then even a newbie can do it after just a little bit of practice.

In AC, it's the opening dealer's job to dribble the ball on each pocket. This used to be standard practice at the Trump Plaza Casino as well as the Taj. I used to make a point of watching them do it so I could quickly find good wheels.

Some dealers will drag the ball across the frets, out of boredom or habit.
Sometimes a dealer will speed the wheel up, and then drag their fingers on it to slow it down before spinning the ball. This is quite common, everywhere.

Yep, so is a Ford Truck! And those never break down! LOL!!!

Most of the time, bias comes from poor assembly, not the machining. However, I've seen entire generations of wheel models that had the same identical flaw, all while the manufacturer claimed the "high tolerances" for their equipment. (A certain hub cap looking wheel comes to mind.) Sometimes it's poorly cured wood, or temp/humidity fluctuations during storage or staging.

it's the opening dealer's job to dribble the ball on each pocket is the biggest misinformation in your post that is a complete fabrication. You do realise anybody can go to their local casino and observe if the dealer does this when opening a table.

internet points must be a real currency to you, the lack of basic comprehension or self-awareness is astounding. I'm in a different country and even standard practice here when opening a roulette table is to check the current opening slip with the prior closing slip so that the balance is the same and no errors or cash chips are missing from the float. This is physically counted in chip stacks when closing and opening. the same goes for colour chips . The croupier will mark up the denomination of colour chips w/ cash chips ontop the float, the roulette display is powered on and the table is open. The casino will usually open more roulette tables due to business demand do you seriously expect anybody to believe your witness account that the croupier has to dribble test the ball in each pocket ontop of opening the table.

The two casino you claim to practice this are permanently closed so nobody in 'AC' can verify it's standard casino practice in those places.

To claim you let alone a trainee could consecutively target any number any time over multiple spins is a claim, what evidence have you got?

I imagined an open discord from both sides of the table about roulette but the more I peel back the facade of this forum, the more obvious it becomes; an environment in which a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own, so that their existing views are reinforced.

Does it aggravate you to encounter the epitome of all your gambling loses? I've tried to be respectful and show you the manufacturing company. You persist with the nonsense in your country as this prentence that you can refute my personal experience with whatever experience you've been dealt.

This was a standard test that was to be done at the opening of the wheel in AC.

So what? Your experience is yours. Here in the US, things are often different than what your limited and brief experiences are there. The count and close are similar here, but other procedures differ.

Yes, this was standard practice in the casinos that I mentioned above. Again, in your country with your limited experience you may have never witnessed something like that. However, I have on more than one occasion.

You really expect anybody to believe you legitmately recorded those spins. What wheel are you using? I doubt you have a operating license to test a real wheel. And What exactly is that total? 5,583? is that the size of your sample just on your left-hand and you think that's all it requires to convince the audience of your argument.

As I said I implore every American Roulette player to go to their local casino and observe if the dealer dribbles the ball in each pocket when opening because that is Cap. Who are you trying to convince? Anybody can verify what the standard practice is by going to a casino. The Casinos you listed are permanently closed therefore nobody can dispute your witness account which is convenient for you.

Mark 7, Huxley. I own wheels. 5583 is the number of spins. "Left handed" refers to the spin direction of the wheel. It means the ball is traveling counterclockwise.

Would you like videos? There are several on Youtube of others spinning the wheel.

I'm guessing Nathan Detroit has probably witnessed as well, considering he frequents that area. There's a chance that Turbo has seen it too. Again, your limited experience is yours, and my vast experiences are mine.

Yes, the Trump Plaza is closed, and the Taj changed names and is now called the Hard Rock.
