Incredible. You still do not understand.

What is the probability to flip the coin a second time?

    Hint: 1/2

I am not asking about the outcome of the second coin flip.

This is an example of just how far off from reason you are.

The questions I put to you on basic math and logic that you refuse to answer because you are not genuine.

    @TwoUp

Your friends on this forum that never invited you. Can't send a PM to advise Giving Up.

The longer you continue to play this game the probability of you winning this argument will approach 0.

    Probabilty ranges from 0 - 1.
You can be 100% "certain" that you flipped the coin once. The probability that you flip the coin twice is 0 - 100%.

The irony in Even Chances; Heads or Tails

    1 flips has two outcomes 2¹ = 2

    2 flips has four outcomes 2² = 4

Are you done yet flailing about trying to understand probability?

There is one event that decides if we must flip the coin a second time. I wonder what that could be?

A: it's the first coin flip that decides!!

We are looking at the probability of needing to flip the coin a second time, not the outcome of the second coin flip. This was stated clearly.

The first coin flip decides if the coin needs to be flipped again. When the first coin flip is tails (not heads) we have to flip again. The probability of getting a tail on the first flip is 1/2.

Your math even shows the first coin flip has 2 outcomes. so 1 out of 2 is 1/2.

You just demonstrated your incompetence for all to see and why you can't understand making more than one bet.

    @6probability9 doesn't fail...

I assume you ctrl c + p this text without understanding multiplication.

"Same method as calculating the probability to lose a coin toss three times in a row (1/2)^3 = 1/2×1/2×1/2 =1/8"

Do you accept that you know the nothing about multiplying indicies that have the same base?

    + hint. you use addition.

Other members online are better at calculating risk than you.

    You should feel embarrassed.

The 1 event we're looking for is heads.
Keep track of the first coin flip, 1/2 it's probability is heads and 1/2 it's probability is tails.

Q: What if I flip tails twice, is it also 1/2?

Ok, so the probability we need to use is: 1/2 × 1/2

    :'(

For those that can't read sarcasm,
There are two events that decide if we must flip the coin a second time.

The longer you play EC+LP the actual house edge paid averages towards -2.7,
& with every extra spin the probability of having any LP advantage deteriorates towards 0.

    You're just a troll.

At this point counting a single coin flip is a bridge too far in the conversation.

If I said the probability of a coin flip was 2^(-1) you would be googling and wiki-diving spewing out a diatribe of nonsense.

You have not ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS and have proved to be a troll.

I won't be fueling your need for attention through humiliation any further.

With your intellect and attitude to learning there is a reason why you earn a poverty wage as a croupier.
