So you're not using a progression of any kind? flat bets only? I don't care about your virtual bets.

Nobody loses to the house edge, they lose because they have piss poor bet selections. Some guy walks up to the roulette table with $200 and 45 minutes later he walks away with nothing. He didn't lose to the house edge. He lost because he bet like an idiot and anything he did win he just kept betting it till it was all gone on his ridiculous bet selection. Almost nobody in their lifetime lives long enough to lose to the house edge.

I care about my virtual bets. You see I'm good at funding streaks that continue and not funding streaks that continue in a loss state. Over at R-Sim I'm using $20 as a base value bet where I attempt to gain $50 to $60 a session. It's my three net wins and done. I jump to other working examples within the same game and it looks like I'm always betting money. It's rare when you don't see anything. It's very close to flat betting. Any skilled RR player should attack the randomness when it lays down easy. Sometimes the streaks or combinations of streaks are too tempting to pass up. And some days those tempting streaks perform like a magical golden opportunity. I'm prepared to take advantage of this. So I play a basic game of $20 bets and I attack the golden opportunities. You know that it is golden because it keeps on going.

Ok are much more professions that need math knowledge - much more people become rich because they knew math than the opposite...

I'm talking about people that invent things. Math knowledge is two things. There is known industry math. Everything known in math has long since been established. Then there are new things like getting our first space ships into orbit. These people do things, everyone else just copies already known methods. There are only a few innovative people compared to everyone else. I took Pythagoras and turned it into a concrete foundation skill that revolutionized techniques. I built a house over a rock cliff on a golf course with over 240 inches of drop. The standard way was to use a batter board and string line system with a builders transit. I used a builder's level and two fixed points. I missed perfectly square by one 16th of an inch. In the old days within an inch was considered good enough for a drop off a cliff like that. And the batter board system would had added an additional week to the setups. It's innovation that makes things better. That extra week and the quality of it went right into my pocket. I won a lawsuit because I used Pythagoras. Most people don't know this but idiots will try to sue you for bad craftsmanship. They think it is in the normal building process so they search for it. There was even a decade where it became the national pastime. They would file lawsuits in order to get free remodeling. I was able to prove standard, as per plan, accuracy. The jackasses lost and paid the damages. This is millions of dollars at times. Yes, math matters at times. But being right matters too.

But being right without using math like we do with reading random drives the math zombies insane. If you can't figure it out with math then it's not real in their little world. They are all like that, even my daughter the math professor, so it must be something they're taught along the way. The worst thing you can say to my daughter is why do I need to learn all this BS when I know I'll never use it for anything in my life. I told her the other day that I use my smartphone to Google whatever math I need to get to an answer immediately. I'm building a garage from the ground-up I need math answers and Google gives it to me immediately. It'll probably be a week before she speaks to me. Just yesterday I needed to know the square footage of a triangle so I knew how much product to buy and 5 seconds later I had the answer.

In the first place, you flatter yourself. We aren't being driven insane by your posts, for myself and probably others, they provoke nothing more than derisive chuckles. Second, the fact that you keep bringing up math and that it's not necessary for the way you bet is a red herring. If there's any irritation on our part (and anyone else's), it's because you make outrageous claims and spout contradictory nonsense. It's got nothing to do with the math or lack of it. If you claimed you had discovered some formula which makes you win 80% of your bets we would be just as scornful as we are now if you didn't provide any evidence.

And what about the math behind your smartphone, the internet, and google? You may not have to use it yourself but you're reaping the benefit of all that "BS".
One of my heroes is George Boole, who I guess you've never heard of. He was a completely self-taught mathematician who invented the math which underlies all modern technology.

I have heard of him. That stuff comes up as options in computer programming. Simple versions have been used in searches for years.

"What is a Boolean Operator?" Boolean Operators are simple words (AND, OR, NOT or AND NOT) used as conjunctions to combine or exclude keywords in a search, resulting in more focused and productive results. This should save time and effort by eliminating inappropriate hits that must be scanned before discarding."

Then there is the basic True or False. I mention Boolean principles way back in 2006 when describing test sims to gamblers.

It's contradictory to you because you don't understand it. You think the only way to look at something is in a linear way, step one step two step three step four. But if you can look at it differently in a way that seems out of order to you that looks contradictory. You will never understand it and I'm never going to explain it to you it would be a waste of time.

George Boole is the father of symbolic logic. Let me ask you, can you use symbolic logic to teach acting? Or to teach somebody how to hunt? You think because roulette has math involved that only math can beat and it is just not true. Symbolic logic has nothing to do with situational awareness or whatever you want to call what people like me experience when we see roulette outcomes. You will never understand this because your brain will not let you because you've trained your brain to go down a totally different path. What I say sounds like nonsense to you and contradictory which is fine with me because you're not the one that pays me for what I do. If you could see the situation correctly it would destroy the game of roulette because everybody would be doing this and casinos would stop making money from the game. So it's fine with me that math people are so confused.

Look, first, it is you who use the word "only", second - you can brag as much as you want, but all your bragging is only words.
I have 100% right hits so 20% more than you and what that change?:)

Do you know of any bragging that isn't only words? That's what bragging is, words. Duh. And I never break to the casino I show them every time I play what I do. And they totally accepted by paying me. And I'm not bragging, I'm trying to figure out why math people never get this and they're opposed to it. My daughter the math professor when she was growing up she was a math nut. She majored in math in high school if that's possible. She thought math was wonderful and she would say things like it explains everything, everything can be explained with math. I never argued with her because she was a kid and I can't argue with her now because she's a math professor and thinks she knows everything. It's not worth making her angry. She knows I win at roulette but she absolutely refuses to talk about it. Which is fine with me.

    I agree 100%.

Of course there are LIMITS to this statement. 3 zeros? 4 zeros? etc.

If we accept spins are random, is there such thing as bad bs?

If there's no good or bad bs, why are gamblers losing more than house edge?

I asked this question on this forum.

As a group, gamblers aren't losing more than the house edge. They're merely losing a high percentage of their buy in. That's not the same thing. And the reason they lose a lot of their buy in is because they keep recycling their money in an attempt to win a satisfying amount. Many gambler's follow a go big or go broke betting scheme.

The zeros are only a small part of the house edge. The payouts that are in favor of the house affect every win. Even with all that the hold for roulette at the end of every day is 16 or 17% which is over three times the house edge in double zero roulette. That's because people reinvest their winnings and make stupid betting decisions. Now one of the math zombies will jump in here and say there are no good bets in roulette to which I say, not for you there isn't..

I was being simple with the zeros remark. If the wheel was ever at 39, 40 numbers (etc), the house edge AT SOME POINT, would be damn tough to manage. I do "well enough" with 38 numbers.
