What is testing and what is real play. Those 2 do not mix well in ONE topic .

Well, the retard will squeal and say the extensive kitchens-table testings is a waste of time but it ain't. You test sufficient to determine if a style is worths-while to play for real cake so it's a progression. The retard and loser will squeal about how supposed "everyone" busts a bankroll but sufficient testings will define the worst case so you pony up sufficient bankroll so you never have to bust a bankroll. That's how I determine I need a 200 units bankroll as that is more 2X my worst-case scenario for loss was -83.5 units in testing. So, in real cake play, thus far, I've already capture profits close to 5X my initial starting bankroll, simple, hey hey!!!!

    Soxman,

Why do.you bother defending yourself, and wasting energy on the haters and non believers?

It's just a.waste of your time and energy.

Unless they got the experience and have actually tested and sat down at a table with many scorecards from many casinos they won't understand you, or believe you etc.

Although you haven't given up your BS (bet selection) you have given enough clues that someone could create and test a similar idea etc. But most won't or do, they are lazy and would rather lose their money at the tables then to Test etc.

I agree that your testing was to the extreme..but it was well worth it for u too feel comfortable to do what you are doing now (winning)

I tried playing a similar method and won overall but it's so grindy and boring and I hate to sit through 6 7 8 straight losses and not quit the shoe or come up with some defensive offsets etc.

But you pointed out that even the skilled black jack people's can be negative for months before making money.

I hate to even be minus for the day etc lol

Those are all stacks of my casino scorecards from the past few months, there are two.books that i use that also have full shoes recorded, real.shoes from real casinos etc I like to use my book normally but some casinos here do.not let you use anything except their own casino scorecards etc.

    Anyway..

Continued success and Fxcxc the haters...

My glasses to scale the Stack size

you don't seem to understand or recognize gas lighting when you see it. Soxfan is the big hater here. Who is attacking him?

I haven't been reading the Forum much lately but I have read a couple of your posts. I think you say you're playing like Sox fan and you play like Punkcity sometimes. No you don't. You don't know how soxfan plays. Maybe Punk City has shown you his method, I don't know. But I think from your comments that he hasn't. You're just kind of guessing. And that's fine. Generally it's a guessing and betting game IMO. So you got a stack of shoes. I believe you. So how did you play? I hope you're not betting on player ever or playing a trend or pattern game like Punk City because if you are and you tell soxfan he's going to mock you and insult you for being a retard. LOL

Most of the serious players here keep track of their shoes and their Wagers and their win-loss record Etc. Contrary to the disinformation that soxfan is spreading most serious players do a lot of testing and practice. I do. Most are not consistently flat betting. Money management and discipline is a big deal in this game.

Getting back to soxfan. He has said more than once that you could give a winning method to a player on a silver platter and they wouldn't use it and win. Why? Most people just want to gamble. You've already said you can't play his way.

He states "I will subject my style to scrutiny, challenge and prove my claim." He doesn't have to. Nobody has to reveal their method of play. I don't. There's people who will write a code for this and prove it or not independently using live shoes. We've been doing this kind of thing for a long time. I don't know if I'd ever really play it myself. I do stick to my comment that under his claim of 20 Wagers per shoe on average he's got to be hitting a 55% strike rate in order to get his 1.25 units net a shoe. I'm not saying it's wrong or I don't believe it I'm just saying that's the math.

Full and fair disclosure I will admit that I have a method that has been tested that can produce a little over 51% strike rate. That's good. But it's not 55%. LOL that is so huge it is hard to believe. I once tracked and posted about 3,000 live Wagers where I got 53% strike rate. But that wasn't mechanical. That was a lot of guessing based on a base bet selection. I don't use that anymore.

    Cheers

I do a lot of testing myself. I agree with this. But the problem is $/hour. At even 52% the profit per 100 wagers is approximately 1.4 net units. The question becomes how many wagers can you get per hour?

Not much gambling for me recently. She makes me go to the beach too much. But whilst I am beachiing I thought I'd try to challenge you all to the "soxfan puzzle." So you will see later that he says he got "clipped" for 7.25 units. So you got to bet Bank and bet flat and be consistent. Can anyone come up with the same result? Give it a shot Jacob.

The mind boggles, but out of the 17 verticals rows of Bank, 12 of them cut off at a single, so I would assume that could be a reason for getting clipped a few units if it's your style to chase for the second or third B.

Sure. His style is going to get clipped with a heavy player shoe like that. But that don't matter. It's just one shoe. Can you decipher what his bet selection was to get that result?

I'll offer what I think is a good hint. From some of his wins you see that you can occasionally get 16 17 wins from a shoe. This means that not only is he betting against some player streaks but he's also betting for the bank to continue.

I know that some cat just like to make the scene with talks of winnings never make mentions of their gettin clipped. But, I ain't a cat what pick cherry, and always admit when I face adversity. The last stretch of shoe result what I pony up was sweet and captured +48.45 units through that stretch of 32 shoe. In fact the average nets profit per for that stretch of shoe was 1.51+ units nets profit so excede my longs-term expected average of 1.25 units nets profits. But the next stretch of 32 shoe clip me for -3.95 unit, so yeah my style is grindy downs and ups but the long term profitability is an upwards trajectory. So, I pony up the result for shoe #1067-1098 inclusive, hey hey.

He has been shown, but has chosen to modify it. It will be still there in his notes for when he decides to revisit the method after realising “ plain action producing inconsistent returns ,pales to insignificance for a slow grind profit”

Slow grind profit is incidentally what soxfan advocates, I agree with him . Maybe not his selection criteria but definitely the mechanics of grinding. Cheers

The mechanics of most EC strategies are going to be a grind and so anybody who plays the EC better get used to the idea.
It's not some free giveaway coming from the generosity of their hearts, you are going to be grafting for it either way.
The way I look at it is that you choose a style that suits you and go with that. My style gives me a lot of consecutive wins, but that doesn't mean I don't get losses, however I can wrap the good sequences around quite a few different MM ideas to take advantage of WWW etc...

Even though it's a grind, the better your thought process and understanding of what's happening, the less likely you are going to get clipped through consecutive shoes and the results will smoothen out. You don't get a badge of honour for going through adversity for 10-15 shoes here and there. It just means you are more a hostage to the short term variance. Would you not want to try and do something about that if you could. But anyway, each to their own, whatever works for you, keep on doing it if that's your thing. All won money is sweet!

It makes a difference if statistics in baccarat are reported in shoes or sessions .

That where the difference would show .
