Hi! How do hot and cold numbers work in roulette?
I know the numbers that appear frequently fall under hot, whereas those numbers that appear less often fall under cold.
    But how is it calculated?
For example, if the ball falls on number 8 in 50 rounds, then does that mean the number 8 is hot?
Can you explain how the numbers are displayed in hot and cold?
    Thank you!

For hot and cold numbers you will need about 500 rounds.

Hopefully you have not spent any money as you obviously know nothing. Good idea to ask here , hopefully you can get some good answers.
Usually the spin count to determine hot and cold varies between venues.

Look at the very bottom of the display screen and you will see something like
Last 250 spins ( which is the average spins most venues)

I have seen some at last 50 spins. Never seen a 500 spin on a display screen as a reference.

The brickyard casinoverse screen ( here in skipthopia ) can’t always be trusted as the number record doesn’t always match up to the number displayed . Ideally you should monitor your own numbers results to determine accuracy.

I have no information about online casinoverse so others may need to fill you in as to best practices.

Check this form threads for valuable information re roulette.

All numbers hit within the 250 spins are counted.
The 4 most appeared numbers are classified as hot.
There can be more than 4 numbers that qualify but they list the latest 4 most recurring numbers.
The cold numbers are number that haven’t hit within the last 250 spins or the 4 least hit numbers. Once again there can be more than 4 least hit numbers , so it’s the latest 4 numbers.

A hot number can drop from the list quickly as it may have hit say 5 times in the first 20 spins of the 250 spin cycle and only hit 5 times during the next 230 spins, yet it can drop from the hot spot by spin 270 and potentially become a cold number quite quickly. Have seen it happen.
    Cheers

    Hi interceptor
    Just some ramblings
If used the 250 marquee and as said, all 37 have usually hit once.
So you collect this data and find how long non-hit numbers take to hit once.
The more you collect the better the data.
The 1st 19 non-hits have an average of two spins.
Up to the 26th non-hit their average is 3 spins.
Up to the 30th non-hit their average is 4 spins.
Now, the average for 1st 10 spins is just 1 repeat.
20 spins usually has 4 repeats in total 1-3.
Okay there you have a bit of data.
If the average in 1st 10 spins is not met. You start spins 11-20, with 27 numbers. You know there could be 4 repeats by 20th spin. For along time it took the 27 numbers 4 spins. Then it went to 5 spins. It now can take 7 spins.
So you know the average to hit is 2 spins. But it can take 7 spins to show.
How many spins can your bankroll take? So do wait 2 spins and hope it shows before another 5 spins. Or wait more, say 4 spins. The 7 spins has shown once in thousands of collected spins.
How often does it take 6 spins? Your data should give you this info.
I have not updated the data. But the remaining 9 numbers has taken 23 spins. Your data says it averages to hit in 4 spins. I could bet it for 14 spins on a FOBT.
Priyanka was clever, but she tried to show me 9 numbers can win. But I showed at RF the remaining 9 takes 23 spins. better than the random 9 numbers. She said thank you NOTTO.

    Hello notto.
I think that statistics from a lot of numbers mean nothing, it didn't get me far. I've seen many times that even in 6 spins 4 repeaters happen because random numbers come out that way and statistics from 37 numbers are different every time, that's why the law of thirds didn't bring the holy grail.

I'm not sure if you're asking me but okay.
It seems that me and my friend notto aka naughty but nice are the only ones who study rng roulette. Even though I own the holy grail and sell it for 100k€ no one believes me but I don't care. I'm curious if you also play rng or live roulette and what are your experiences so far?

I'd like to know too, compared to slots it's many times harder to understand the mechanics here
