Hey, MDawg. I'll be in LV April 17-21, although my connection is tight on the 17th, so call it the 18th instead. I'll be available for extemporaneous answering of sports wagering questions for a morning or afternoon. Will pin down times closer to the arrival date. Will probably camp in the brew pub at Main Street Station downtown for the meet-and-greet. If you want an autographed copy of the book with my short origin story, come on down.

Here's the deal, dudes. MDawg and I are both big HST fans, so that's not off topic. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a classic. It's about Las Vegas. It's about gambling. It's about hallucinogenic, possibly fictional, narratives. It's about being disruptive.

And what's off topic about wanting to meet MDawg in Las Vegas in a "MDawg Does Vegas" thread? While handing off a book to MDawg containing a gambling-oriented non-fiction story.

I just took a look at that anemic VCT forum after I tried to jump-start it from the road which was like a shot of adrenalin for it, and it sure is pathetic. Nothing short of me posting there full-time will do anything to get it going again. Mr. Singer seems to be out of the informational loop. GWAE is shutting down in a couple of weeks. We'll try to get together at some point anyway since I'm in and out of Las Vegas throughout the next four months.

I'm supposed to give a writer for The Gangster Chronicles a tour of LV is July. So maybe Rob could drop in then and show the writer how a high roller lives. The guy is also a filmmaker, so he should be toting a camera in case Rob wants to make a YouTube splash.

P.S.S. Could you see Rob interviewed by an actual filmmaker? LOL. How do you think that would go? Could you see his wife on camera being asked, "So this $1.5 million -- do you have any evidence of it? Who's your financial advisor?"

Despite that some of us don't appreciate all his stories and claims, and don't think much of Rob, I am sure there were some worried about a couple in their mid 70's sleeping in rest stops and Walmart parking lots. So, it is so good to hear that Rob has made it to South Dakota, where the Singer child that drew the short end or lost a bet has to babysit Rob and his wife for a few months.

 

In the gay community, whenever someone talks of 9 inches or some unlikely amount, a common response is "where are you measuring from, your asshole?"

Don't really care, but I have seen Rob's hands in the Alan video and the hands always tell. Rob is packing 5 inches. Or he was back when he could still get hard. Now-a-days he is showing 2.5 to 3 inches of a shriveled turtle head.

Just add it to all the other Singer BS claims.

There was no Newell. Rob didn't play the double up (or to paraphrase Dan Druff, if he did it was for small amounts after the fact on low limit machine in out of the way locations that hadn't applied the fix or "patch"). There is no Singer Progression winning system (because progression wagering cannot make a winning system), There was no 1.5 million dollar VP hit (that's why he can't name the casino), so consequently there was no W2G. There were no other various big hits, all that have been debunked. There was no stacks of cash (that was play or movie money purchased from Amazon).

What you have is a lifetime negative expected value (losing) player, who so desperately wanted to be something he wasn't. He has applied voodoo claims and strategies on top of voodoo claims and strategies, right down to "special plays" and "machines telepathing hot and cold cycles". And now he bounces around between his kids houses angry and bitter at those that do play +EV and win.

 

Thanks, Dawg. My main mission will be to pin down an itinerary for the writers from The Gangster Chronicles in July. We're hoping George Martarano will be visiting the Mob Museum that month to work on exhibits. I'll be trying to evaluate certain things so I know whether to recommend them to people, like Happy Hour at Oscar's and a walk through of the Mirage before it's renovated. Things like that. Maybe find a proper place to soak up some ambience at the Flamingo. My first thought was the Flamingo buffet where you can peer out at the birds along the walkways, but the buffet no longer exists.

 

If you haven't been to Oscar's by now and haven't experienced the Mirage, then you're as big a loser as kew. For someone who's claimed to have been a sports betting/handicapping celebrity and rub elbows with mobsters and movie producers who wear loafers without socks for years now, you really don't seem to have done much at all.

And pay your property tax bill. Kew won't say anything, but it still shows as delinquent.
