SPIKE, I don't think it's about the streams having to be unique, it's more a case of looking at them from a different angle and hopefully one of them will be easy to read/follow. At least that's my experience with them.

 

It's still just a weak offshoot of the main stream and if it was that easy to win doing it everybody would be a master at it. It's not dangerous to the casino, that's why they include all the roads right there on their tote board. You're still dealing with just two random outcomes, banker and player, and they're only going to go a very restricted number of ways. Just like if all you followed was red/black in roulette, it would be very limiting.

There would be no point in running streams if they were just a weaker version of the main stream. Is it easy? No! To devise a set of streams to make baccarat easier to read is pretty complex. The easier you make the streams to read, the harder they were to frame. I get your point about the derived roads and why the casino put them there, but the casino know that most people trying to interpret these streams are looking for the 'dragon' good luck to them with that is all I can say. As to there are only so many things that can happen! Sure, you can boil it all down to FTL/OLD if you want to and hope that your MM will see you through but there are a myriad of very subtle changes that flow through the game IMO.

 

The one fact you cannot argue with is that they are still random outcomes, and random behaves in very specific ways. They are random from dealt down decks, but the outcomes are still anybody's good educated guess. If you have found a way to win consistently by using watered down streams from two outcomes, more power to you. But I'll bet it's more like Blackjack where you have a lot of losing sessions for every really great one. I need more consistency than that when I play.

 

Well, I don't really have great sessions unless you count any winning session as a 'great' one which I suppose in it's own way, it is.
You see, much like yourself, I am not going to the casino to have fun, if I want fun, I can go to the live roulette table and splash out a few chips on some numbers, that's fun in my book. My baccarat play takes a bit of effort, in fact so much so, that sometimes I can't even be bothered playing anymore. On saying that, the challenge is always there to go and prove to my own satisfaction that a lot of hard work and study didn't go to waste. But it is still all guesswork and I don't have any pretence thinking I have the HG of baccarat. It's all just based on common sense and from a lot of reading / studying down the years. There is nothing I do that nobody hasn't previously talked about in one way or another. But I will say it's how you put it all together. All I need is one slight deviation from the norm in one of my streams and I can capitalize. Sometimes they run a while, oftentimes, they just run enough to capture a few units. A lot of small wins do add up and I don't need the stress that just good old fashioned gambling can bring anymore.

 

All these games amount to just make a few units and leave. The fantasy of sitting there and winning and winning is just that, a fantasy. Certainly people do it but it's just a fluke it only happens once in a while. You have to be satisfied with making a few units profit and quitting before the game turns on you. These units can be any size you want but if you're there to make a bunch of units you're going to be disappointed.

 

Yup it makes sense to just capture one 10$ unit and scoot with the purported 88% strikes rate! Yer such an imbecile, hey hey!!!!

In my opinion OLD is the best approach, but only for the first 3 outcomes. Then I just wait for the strike to end.

I love Baccarat & joined for over 5 year (honestly confessing I lost, so far). This time is at the end of our lunar year & I plan need to review myself for next year & should have a serious looking about this game. I don't want to see it as a game any longer.
