Hello everyone. It is of my belief that Turbo passed away December of 2023. I will not mention his real name. I’m only here to state what I believe to be true given the information that I have. He was liked and loved by many on here… as well as hated by a few lol. I’ve been a long time lurker and follower of the genius and wanted to pay my respects. In my opinion, he passed way too soon. 55 years old. I hope everyone realizes that you never know when it’s your time to go. So be kind to each other. Rest In Peace turbo. You will be missed.

Funny you post this. Yesterday at RF there was 2 turbo genius. Today only 1 in the member list.
The 1 missing had quite a few posts.
Anyway, if he's passed away, they'll be plenty for him to meet. Like Ralph.

I hope this is false news. Turbo is one of the most cherished voices in the roulette world. A true gentleman and an inspiration to all.

Did you find an obituary? How can you know? I am hoping it's not true...

Hopefully it is not true. This game can drive a man mad, I have a fear he might actually did something to him self.

If this is the case I am gutted. I had been corresponding with Turbo for some time on LOTT etc and he always had some great insights. He was resilient and seemed a genuinely nice guy who wanted to help. RIP Ed.

The obituary didn't explain how he died.

Obituaries don't generally say the cause. Just when the funeral service is and their family usually.

Wait, so because the obituary does not say cause of death you think "the game" drove him to end his life? That's a big leap...

Look guys. How he passed away is not relevant. The man did a TON for a lot of people in this and other forums. If you don't like him, well no sweat off his back. Let's not turn this into a conspiracy. Let's just respect the man for who he was. If ya didn't like him that's fine. You won't hear from him again.

We didnt see eye to eye. Indeed no point in debating what caused it. But very sad nonetheless, I hope he has peace...

I hope this is not accurate, if it is I find it very upsetting. There are very few truly altruistic people, Turbo is/was one of them. I always wanted to eventually meet him and thank him in person for all that he has done.

Unfortunately, I believe it to be accurate @Nimo

I too wanted to meet him. I actually didn't live far from him.

Was his photo included in the obituary? That would unfortunately confirm it, if it was...
