Baccarat what progression are you using?

I will try it as well. I will use it with blackjack since I don’t want to work too hard at baccarat.

 

I kept playing and lost it all back and more
not really surprised
I think it's all but impossible to beat a negative expectancy game in the long run with bet selection or progressions or any combination of the two
but it was fun for a while when I went up by so much until reality showed up

 

I'm up to 10 units + with REVERSE Oscar's Grind, but that's nothing compared to more aggressive progressions. Cutting and shielding are a +/- that might do more harm. My current favorite doesn't have the volatility of REVERSE Oscar's Grind so far so I will focus on just executing and not letting on the gaming conditions be an influence.

I would like to switch back and forth like a Jedi with Fibonacci, but IDK.

Wizards of Vegas is different from Wizard of Odds IMO although I think the forum spun off from it or something like that. See 'WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying' on this site. I guess they are related. I think other sources like real played shoes are better.

 

I switched back to a regular Oscar's Grind - no more reverse - much less escalation
am doing very well - haven't taken a loss in any session
I use Bank as my base bet and switch to Player if there is 2 in a row on alternating if there is 2 in a row alternating
so, I am always on the right side of any long streak and can't get creamed by any long streak of those 3 possibilities
but the base bet on the free game is $5 and I have have to sometimes bet as much as $60 in the progression
that's 12 times my base bet - if I was playing bacc in a casino at a $50 table that means I would sometimes have to bet as much as $600
that's too much
in brick and mortar could use it at craps but the game is so slow
or roulette but the HE is so high
I don't like online casinos
I dunno - will keep playing just for fun

 

Most progressions require a big range to work so by default it typically calls for playing on the lowest table min tables. Would you rather play 1 - 3 units on a $50 - $100 min +++ table or have a bigger range on a $10 - $25 ++ table? Many players care not about table min and will place monster positions on any table, but some like the mid to high range tables only.

The best way is get as many realistic hand shoes as possible and test them across the board.

Over at redduht there are so many monster session recaps that swear by positive progression yet straight up testing shows it doesn't do well. Maybe the bath bros. can pull their rich dad off the shelf and explain it to the class to earn 2 units per shoe.

Why can't you be happy with the progressions you already have?

- In as little as 1,000 hands of the baccarat from real tuff shoes one should see how the various selections and progressions do.
- For selection one can compare to all Bank like Soxfan hey hey!
- For progressions one can compare to flat like Soxfan hey hey!

 

If you place flat with a strategy to make an adjustment after ever shoe to catch up if required, what percent would you add? This concept is aligned with the idea to play as much as possible in every session vs math and common view to play as little as possible/ hit and run.

If you are placing table minimum then that might limit it to an increase adjustment of 50% or 100%. The larger the table minimum, the more options you have.

IMO, flat and adjusted flat are selling your time and buying security against worst case conditions.

 

Came up with something already based on P/L which is a mix of what is in the previous post and Gr8player's Progression.

Looking back to time playing tennis when down 1 - 2 it's a huge game because you can either get to 2 - 2 or fall to 1 - 3. Much harder to turn around a 1 - 3 set score...
