"In blackjack, the probability of the dealer busting depends on the card the dealer shows, known as the "upcard." On average, the dealer busts about 28% of the time across all possible upcards.

To estimate how often the dealer busts in 20 hands, we can multiply the average bust rate by the number of hands:

    Expected busts=20×0.28=5.6\text{Expected busts} = 20 \times 0.28 = 5.6Expected busts=20×0.28=5.6
So, in 20 hands, the dealer is likely to bust approximately 5 to 6 times on average. However, this can vary depending on the specific upcards and the game’s rules."

Wait for the dealer not to bust for 10 times then start betting and sticking low, never risk it and wait for the dealer to bust.

Never fails ... simple maths wins the day every time !!

This strategy seems to be based on the gambler's fallacy, which is the belief that if something happens less frequently than expected over a period of time, it is bound to happen more frequently in the near future. However, blackjack outcomes remain independent for each hand.

Why don't you just count cards? It's blackjack, it's got a known AP and the games still offered.

The idea sounds solid on paper—waiting for the dealer to bust after 10 hands of no busts. But remember, blackjack is still random, so it’s not a sure thing every time. Statistically, it can work, but you’re still dealing with luck. Gotta balance patience with knowing when to pull the trigger.

Why not 9 times or 11 times . What's so special about 10 times ?
