I started updating my program last night to shift away from a randomly generated “win” and made a shuffle routine for X decks, burn card + dead cards, and adding in card graphics so now it plays like an actual game.

I wanted to do this so you could test your systems in a more traditional manner.

I also put in some general info such as cards remaining in the shoe, a running count/true count for card counting (and shows how useless it actually is for bac), and I believe that’s all I got to do last night.

I want to add in betting next so you can just play a shoe as if you were playing on any old app, and then I want to add in a feature to create custom betting patterns/strategies that don’t have to be hard coded.

    Hopefully more to come tonight.

I didn’t work on the app last night, but here’s a screenshot of it currently:

I need to do some formatting on it still, add in the other derived roads, add in a way to set up betting patterns without having to hard code them (and other stuff to go along with that).

One thing I noticed while playing bac at Borgata was they showed what the burn cards are. On my app (and I believe at my local casinos hybrid setup) they don’t show them. I *think* I was playing Mini Bac at Borgata ($20 min bet, 50% winnings if you won on a 6 I believe), so I’m not sure if they showed because of that or that’s normal for them. I don’t recall what they did at Ocean.

Anyone have any insight to that?

Usually the burn cards are hidden.

It was the right move, going to shuffled decks instead of RNG. The software looks good so far.

If you want to add derived roads, here is a good explanation.

Added in the big eye road and small road over the weekend. I had my son, so I only had time when he was sleeping, and in between baccarat sessions.

I have 75% of the roach/pig trail in, but he wasn’t feeling well last night so making sure he was okay and able to sleep took precedence.

Got all of the derived roads in, also added in a chaos tracker so you can quickly see which road is chaotic or predictive. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to add anymore in tonight, but it's coming along.

That is truely impressive and I'll be the first to ask...Are you going to market it?

I’ve been debating on trying to make one of them freemium casino apps with no way to cash out, but as a tool / single player practice app, I’ll give it away for free with a donate link.

Didn’t do too much since the last update, but here’s the current progress:

    D2BFFA5D-D3F5-497E-B804-E2FD5B5C0347.png

Added in betting and the various chip sizes. Need a way to clear the bet, move the bet, and repeat the bet.

I also want to do some formatting to the interface; maybe make the roads floating, or reduce their width and make them scrollable.

After that, I’ll make the custom betting and wagers portion and then it should more or less be done unless anyone has suggestions.

Once baccarat has been finished, I may make another “virtual table” for blackjack to test skills and card counting.

Did some overhauling and adding in some stuff:

    Untitled.png

I changed the layout to give more room for the virtual table, resized the roads (and they auto scroll a column when they reach the end), min and max table bets are now in there, can place bets on all 3 banker, player, and tie (will add in an option to limit the types of bets allowed at some point). Added in pairs (and do have a check for perfect pairs as well).

Bankroll increases and decreases like it should, and bets will get rejected if you don't have enough funds, are under the table minimum, and when you try to bet over the table maximum. Bets are placed with a left click, and an undo bet with the right click in the betting spots.

I'm also going to add in a profile system so you can set up tables (mins and max, side bets, number of decks, delay between cards drawn, etc) and patterns/progressions and run simulations based off of that, as well as manually entering in results from a live game.

One thing I didn't do was set the derived roads up to create a dragon tail. Whoops.

Other things added in: Random cut, but will put the option for a manual cut, and the end card, which will have adjustable values as well. I have new cards in the works since I borrowed these from some random website.

Still plenty to do, but it's coming along pretty good now.

    - Looks great! It would be awesome to have Android, Apple, WinDUHs versions, etc.
    - Smaller table vs scoreboards big is best as most games/ apps do the exact opposite by making a huge table which makes it very difficult to see the roads.
    - Maybe a corner of the app where various ads can be posted as a source of revenue?
    - I think the majority of players want to use it to learn more about how shoes work and the various Derived Roads vs just play as there are countless places to play. Easily loading and saving shoes is a big plus.
    - This is a good format/ look IMO which is very common:

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!

For different platforms - I’ve never written code for ios/android/mobile, so that would be pretty slim on happening. It’s currently being written in VB6, but it should be very easy to import into .Net (will do that at some point when this is “finished”).

As for ads - nope. I’m very anti advertisements, so anything I produce is always ad-free. My side business is in gaming, so tossing a donation link or a $5 one time fee (which, likely will just be a donation link as I’m not looking to profit off of people with this) would be more than enough for me.

I prefer the larger table, but I can certainly make an option to reduce/remove it and have a minimal table/more statistical based view.

I agree about easy loading/saving shoes and simulations are going to be the big draw for most people. In my first simulator (which is just ignored right now), it would save each shoe and you could review it after the simulation. Easy enough to save all of then (sim or not), and easy enough to either see the entire result right away, or replay the shoe.

I don't think $5 would be enough. Check out WinCraps model at Cloud City Software. It's $20 and well worth it.
