I say yes without a doubt but most people think because you have to put more on the table then you have more chance of losing more and the progression would be more.

This is a classic insurance bet for low rollers, it covers most of the table with the least chips, the amount of times I've put insurance bets on and got a push rather than a loss is insane !!

People think there's only 2 outcomes to roulette, you either win or you lose, this isn't true, you either win, lose or get your money back.

My best advice is to take advantage of insurance bets as a low roller, you'll never make the big bucks fast tho, but you'll walk away up while all the high rollers are down lol

    Hmmm .. why not place EC 1u & DZ 0.5u? That way you have a bigger real-estate, 18-numbers for a hit & 12-numbers for break-even.
    Why EC 1u & DZ 1u?

I do buddy, this is just an example of the lowest bet possible with £'s and insurance, if you want to do 0.10 bets then you can do this.

I usually u 2 on highs and 1 on 1st dozen which is the same as EC 1u & DZ 0.5u, and swap over when i feel it's needed.
