The Asian (obviously) themed Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino will open Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 19 at 4pm. This is a traditional Vegas type soft opening with the official grand opening in December. Lucky Dragon is located just off the strip near Palace Station.

Maybe we should all meet up wearing our best Asian disguises. :D

Virtually across the street form the SLS casino on the strip. A few feet west of the Strip, not on the other side of the I-15. The Lucky Dragon is right behind/west of that huge gift shop the Bonanza. It is between there and the Golden Steer Steakhouse, and BTW, the Golden Steer is a really great place to eat!

Is it? I didn't realize it was that close to the strip. I thought it was just on the other side of I-15, closer to Palace Station. My Bad. I did notice the big banner type permanent advertisement that popped up above LVB, fairly recently. I guess I should have taken notice as to where it was directing people.

Yes, I was just there a couple months ago, my family member there in Vegas did some work there on contracting. We always go to the Golden Steer which is literally next door to the L. Dragon. Actually between the L. Dragon and that whole tourist little plaza on the strip with the Bonanza Gift Shop and all that, there is that designer little mall shopping/LV Impact Offices. So walking from the strip with your back towards the SLS. You would be standing on the sidewalk on the north side of Sahara with the Bonanza Gift Plaza there on your right. You walk west from there and pass that little office plaza complex, etc. Cross that street and there is the Lucky Dragon. Then the Golden Steer Steakhouse. Then a couple of blocks to the I-15 freeway ramp. Palace Station would be on the west side of the I-15 and south a block.

Can't wait for this, not that Vegas needs another casino but it might be a good addition!

Went there a week after opening. Really liked the place and the baccarat action there. The casino was too stingy with the comps which contributed to its downfall along with it was way off strip up on the North side near the Stratosphere. Plus you don’t feel safe walking around at night.

comps are based on unit size , length of time at play and HE. Best not to play for comps .Play short take your winnings and run.

place was a dump. knew a couple of people there and they couldn't pay there employees they were operating in the red from the jump. Add to the fact after I hit some jackpots on there top dollar machines. I came back and they yanked the games.. Cheap bastards. Heard some other company was looking into buying the joint.

They never had even a single dices table in the whole joint! How's a joint gonna survive in the Las Vegas without offering dice, hey hey?

No Craps? Unheard of. No wonder they're no longer in business.
