It's another perk for Founding Members who joined us and believed in our vision prior to our public launch. We don't see how it will limit our growth.

Here is my view on this and you may not like it, I'm not a prejudice man and believe we are all equal.

The way you have this board set up now is putting everybody that joins now in a different class. Are we living in India, and you figure that all the new members are now in a subclass and they automatically become slumdogs?

Now this is coming from a one of your founding members. I will not invite anybody else to this board so they can become slumdogs!

How can you call this an uncensored forum when you have two different classes of members that can't read what the other ones write? Why do you censor what people are able read - that is not the definition of an uncensored forum!

The other thing that needs to be changed is how many warnings do you give someone for breaking your rules, before there is a penalty to pay? The personal name calling and personal attacks keeps going on and no one thinks it's funny, when is it going to stop?

I've continually voiced my opinion to Admin which he has responded with view (which we still disagree upon), but I've not let that stop me from inviting more than 100 members (registered).

Having said that, Superrick and others have also made valid points. Everything you envision cannot always fit into one box.

I have no problem with Founding Members. I do still have a problem with experts who joined after the initial period, being "active member" or whatever. I felt they should (based on their input submission of background), be classified as (Pro, Author, Coach, Mentor, wherever that falls) to distinguish them when they add their valued input. I am definitely not saying a regular mentor doesn't contribute equally, I'm saying that person is speaking from experience and a wealth of knowledge.

Rick talked about "slumdogs" and although I get his venting, it's a bit strong and a reach. I have no problem with a new member, not qualifying as Expert, Mentor, Author, or whatever, as simply "Forum Member Stakeholder." Should Admin or others want to see them post a minimum of 5 or 10 original posts before the name changes to "Contributing Forum Stakeholder," again, no problem here.

I want the forum completely open. I think the new NON INVITE's should have to agree (during registration), not to belittle others, trash other sites and this out of spite, disrespect other, and leave the drama to other less informative sites). Violators (IMHO) lose posting privileges first time (30 days), after that they agree to new terms, one more disruptive childish behavior and their IP is simply banned. Harsh? Not really, we all should be adults and although we already have some minor tantrums playing out, Admin will figure out the best solutions (with your input all).

Now, who's for getting this forum wide open (yes, we will get some drama folks looking for attention), but kick their collective (_!_)'s out if need be.

I look at everybody as a equal, Why can't someone read something that I wrote, do you need a special forum for the founding members, so I can hind behind a wall and write something that all the members can't read? So tell me that I'm special just because I found this board before a new member did. I instantly gained more status only because someone invited me when this board was starting, what a joke!

    I'm with SuperRick on this.

Hey Rick, it's not up to Admin anyway, he/she/it serves at the pleasure of the founding members - just need to get a consensus of ACTIVE founders.

    Cape'ce?

Who cares? I've been invited several times over the years to "private" boards, turned them all down. Why? I simply dont need them. Very LITTLE more I can learn behind closed doors (roulette speaking).
