Quiet here, so just thought I'd start this one for fun to see what crops up.
Post your unusual sequences that you've seen once or twice and those that have left you bamboozled and screaming conspiracy, fixed! ;)

Cool subject. Can I change the question a bit, not fixed but "it sticks in my head" for years.

    A) The 17 hitting 10 times in 33 spins.

    B) A different day.......The 13 & 15 (5 numbers apart) hitting 10 times in 20 spins.

Damn those are tough to beat!

The other week I had two numbers hit 5 times along with a few 3 peaters within 37 spins. The dealers face was priceless when they were hitting. Of course I was just smiling my arse off ;)

The other thing that stands out.....a guy was betting on the 0/2 split for maybe 4 hours, it never hit. Slightly raising his bets but he had no actual idea of positive or negative. So he gets wiped out (HaHa) and leaves, I continue to play. It still did not hit for the next 3 hours. Not real sure the number of total spins, it was not too busy.

Reading something from the other board.....so if the 14 was hot, I should also bet the 2/35? Not me, you are WASTING two numbers.

A few years ago playing a tough marathon session (over 3 hours & over 200 spins) and finally get back in front a few hundred dollars.

This guy walks up to the table, sits beside me and plonks a single black chip ($100) on 11.

11 hits! He now has a stack of 35 black chips, and leaves the black chip on 11.

11 hits again! He now has a stack of 70 black chips, and leaves the black chip on 11.

11 hits a third time! He now has a stack of 105 black chips, and leaves the black chip on 11.

11 misses. He cashes out $10500 after 4 spins!

I cash out my lousy $230 and head, shell shocked, straight to the bar for a stiff drink.

I know this is hindsight but.....I would of done the 11 for ten more spins. No hit, leave.

A hit?.....9 more spins added on to whatever was left (if anything) to that 10. etc

My best in terms of SHORT term......betting the 4/16 with black chips. The 4 hits 3 times in a row.

Betting the 0/28 with black chips. The 0 hit 3/4 spins.

    @Fossell

Have you recorded the session that made you lose at Parx? If yes, can you post it.

So maybe now the gambling forums are ready for Elegant Patterns?

It was 1993 and I was just about done playing all night long when I noticed a perfect pattern occurring in the same 12 numbers on the American wheel. It was 0 & 00 and the numbers on either side combined with the 17 & 18 with the numbers on either side of them. They were hitting twice in a row and then not hitting for a single spin. Then it would keep doing this perfect pattern. I had $60, 12 $5 chips. So after the next miss I placed a red chip on each of the 12 numbers. It hit. So I let it ride with 3 chips on each number in the group. That won too. I sat out the next spin. It missed as the perfect pattern continued. I went with 3 chips on the next spin, and then 9 chips for each number. Those both won too. I skipped the next bet and it missed perfectly. The next time I went with 5 chips and then 10 chips that both won. By the time the 30 minutes was done I took $60 and turned it into $3,000 where I walked away. That was the beginning of me thinking about randomness.

Hi. You mean the day I was chasing Armitage shanks when he'd hit top spot?
I lost all my profit for that week, but still have my bankroll. But no sorry I wasn't recording. I was playing all out nuts that day. Silly money bets.
Not the way I played to build up my bankroll. Why?
Been playing real money since then with my time.

Again, a little off topic but it stands out.......this older lady was playing with dollar chips and not doing very well.

She lost and started crying at the table, no shit. I gave her $150 (chips) so she could get more chips and play on.

Was that a dumb move on my part? I dont know, it made me feel good though.

    That's decent of you Ken.

I hit 4,6,4 on 3 spins on PlayOJO last month. With 4 and 6 being my lucky numbers I was pretty happy with that!! I booked a vacation with the winnings, life is good!

On the week ends I used to play with a grandpa who was a fan of number 0 sector. One night, zero didn't hit for 350 spins and the neighbours hit below average so he lost and stopped playing nearly the Casino closing, but I continued and he recorded next to me the following winning numbers, when all of a sudden number zero hit, he was upset because before stopping to play, he was betting huge on it. And to top it all, the dealer hit zero 3 more time in a row, Roulette can be cruel. It is thanks to him I detected my bias, he played this wheel for years and had hundreds of scorecards he gently lend me :)

People see what they want to see. It's called confirmation bias.

For me this just suggests that some bias players don't know what natural temporary bias is. Randomness has hot numbers that last for 300 to 600 spins before cooling off. A bias player that does not know this also does not know that a hot number can cool off before 300 spins. But to think that the wheel is defective and biased after just a few hundred spins is the description of the new "Fake" player status. You could call them the neo-Fakes.

When you play for real money in the real world against a real wheel and you have already lost several thousands €/$ you are not hot to continue with a martingale. You can do this with fake money at RX or Parx because it is fake and what you lose is virtual.
I advise you to leave your hut and go play in the real world with real money, when you will lose enough with your fallacies, it will calm you down, having lost millions of fake units at Parx is not enough to make you clever obviously.

    I do
    I don't
I don't – use a martingale. Thats doubling up when you lose.
    I didn't – ever lose.
    Do
    I don't
    I'm horizontal
    I didn't
    Guess so. damn :(

You do get carried away with a pointless rant Bago. Were you bullied at school?
    Is this your therapy?

You will stop bragging when your gambler's fallacy system is launched against 1 million spins. Prepare your apologies big mouth.
