So? You're probably betting several times larger in the free mode games. You're betting like they are.

No, you were trying to beat it after all of that happened. And no, you were never able to rank above random. The reason is the max bet was too low to bet absurd amounts of money while running the up as you lose progression. When you're limited to a real betting range your system sputters and fails.

These are blatant and obvious lies. But so be it. This is what you choose to become.

Put it this way, what you call winning is barely break even in my book.
Regardless you were never able to win there like you do on Parx, despite having multiple IDs.

dr sir anyone likes to say "why ______ doesn't work"

whether or not you win your entire life every single day does not matter. the math says any and all strategies "do not work" so unless its physics he has a mouth about it

I respected the guy, I respected what he did and how he did it.
Now all I see is another troll who spends his time on forums replying to
anyone who will listen about how they can't be doing what they're doing.
It's a shame and I mean that. It's a loss in my book but life goes on.
I'll continue to do what I do.

    Turbo,

Rather than trying to prove how much you can win on free mode on Parx with bonuses, etc...how about just demonstrating the math that supports your claims? Let's keep it civil. If you need help with the math, then I can help. I won't bash your attempt at actually trying to explain the math for a change.

I know exactly how you're playing, but when I look at the math, all I can see is an up as you lose progression that's destined to fail during real play. I really think that you're just being fooled by the free mode games, but here's your chance to put forth substance.

I'll put forth my substance in live play at the casino. Then those results can be bashed and some excuse made
as to how I did it. It won't however matter to me. I'm done discussing it here or on any forum.
My results will speak volumes. The people who do get it already get it. I wish them continued success.
I have a much needed yearly vacation to kick off in the sunshine state and then I'll decide if I continue
    on the forums or not.
Maybe we'll be at the same table someday - who knows.

    Good luck on your vacation.

I'll likely be in the Parx region and AC next month. Maybe I will see you then. It would be entertaining to see a performance that matches some of the wild claims.

TG all that matters at the end of the day is if it’s consistently working for you. It’s an uphill battle on forums to fight others opinions

Being told it can’t work (when it does in fact work for you consistently) accompanied by condescending photos means very little if anything at all. What he should say is “the math says otherwise but keep on winning”

In the penny stock world we know when a stock has potential when the paid stock bashers come out of the wood works to bash a stock in online forums. They do this to suppress other people from benefiting. His writing style is similar to theirs

Don’t sweat it. I make money using stupid systems. Is what it is.

Here's the problem that I have with Turbo's claim.

Turbo's claiming that he can beat the random game of roulette. Not the wheel (gaming device), but the actual game of roulette because it's random. This claim is absurd because of what we know about the game, it's history, basic probability, and math.

    Let's look at this logically.

History says that it can't be beaten. Look at Wiki, history books, etc.
The experts say it can't be beaten. Dr. Thorp, countless mathematicians, actuaries, etc..

"Not only do betting systems fail to beat casino games with a house advantage, they can’t even dent it. Roulette balls and dice simply have no memory. Every spin in roulette and every toss in craps is independent of all past events. In the short run you can fool yourself into thinking a betting system works, by risking a lot to win a little. However, in the long run no betting system can withstand the test of time. The longer you play, the ratio of money lost to money bet will get closer to the expectation for that game." -Mike Shackleford, actuary/mathematician

"Albert Einstein once made the flat statement no one could possibly win at roulette “unless he steals money from the table while the croupier isn’t looking.”-Einstein.

Guidelines for Evaluating Systems -Source is "The Mathematics of Gambling", by Dr. Edward O. Thorp.
The general principles apply to almost all gambling games, and when they apply, they guarantee that systems cannot give the player an advantage. To help you filter and reject systems, here are conditions which guarantee that a system is worthless.

    1. Each individual bet in the game has a negative expectation. This makes any series of bets have a negative expectation.
    2. There is a maximum limit to the size of any possible game. (This rules out systems like the Martingale and up as you lose.)
    3. The results of any one play of the game do not "influence" the results of any other play of the game.(Note that we are talking about the "game of roulette", not the "gaming device."
    4. There is a minimum allowed size for any bet. (This is necessary for the technical steps in the mathematical proof.)

Under these conditions, it is a mathematical fact that every possible gambling system is worthless in the following ways:

    1. Any series of bets has a negative expectation
    2. This expectation is the (negative) sum of the expectations of the individual bets.
    3. If the player continues to bet, his total loss divided by his total action will tend to get closer and closer to his expected loss divided by his total action.
    4. If the player continues to bet it is almost certain that he will:
    a. be a loser
    b. eventually stay a loser forever, and so never again break even;
    c. eventually lose his entire bankroll, no matter how large it was.

-Please note the source "The Mathematics of Gambling", by Dr. Edward O. Thorp.

    -------------------------------- OR-------------------------------------------

Turbo's claims as to why his system works.

    "math beats a math game"

"I can win because I'm guaranteed to lose"

"I can increase accuracy of prediction when spins are completely unpredictable"

Other than the above comments, we have his performance at Parx, which clearly has a built in edge for the players with the bonuses that players receive just for signing in and reaching various levels, and then there's some other free mode game where several other system players are also miraculously winning.

You decide which is correct. History, math, logic OR Turbo.

If possible, could you copy/paste that to a new thread (or I could).
I would love to address everything you just said and leave it as a informative
source for the future. It will mean a lot of typing tonight and I'm ok with that if it educates
and helps others with their adventures in roulette.
All of that info is important - and the reply to it is important as well, if not more important.
    Cheers.

I recently posted at RF about proof being my decider.

As I have got older, I’ve seen and heard some weird things that lead me to believe that you cant say “no it isn’t” like Caleb has above, or say “yes it is” like Turbo says without proof.

Basically, all I said at RF is that all I can be guided by is what I see, and what I see is that the Casinos prove they are winners. They show profits based on HE and Hold. Its documented in their company statements. People claiming to be winners doesnt ever come with proof....I mean divulging methods for all to test. thats the proof, not just words.

Unfortunately, although I agree with Caleb, what he typed from quotes doesn’t PROVE that Turbo isn’t beating Roulette. It proves to Caleb, in his mind, that Turbo isn’t beating roulette. It’s a different thing.

I would love to hear Turbos reply’s and Caleb’s responses in a separate thread. I have great respect for both guys. I would find that interesting because, in all of this, I have the best tool at my disposal…..an open mind!.

    Thanks
Who am I to disagree with Bertrand Russell and Russell's Teapot scenario, but once we say that the burden of proof is on the person making the claim, it kinda gives the disbelievers a free pass to say "bullshit" and and not have to say why.
The burden of proof is on both sides, IMHO

Well I think you have to look at what Turbo is actually claiming here. I too respect both he and Sir A, but Turbo is claiming that roulette can be BEATEN MATHEMATICALLY with a system, so shouldn't he be able to provide a mathematical proof? Until he can do that then IMO the burden of proof does indeed lie with him, because there is ALREADY a mathematical proof that roulette can NOT be beaten with a system.

I think the Parx thing is a bit of a red herring. Whether the outcomes are fixed or not isn't really relevant, because Turbo could be ahead on the leaderboard AND still not have a system which "beats" roulette. They are not mutually exclusive. If we had some detailed stats then it would be possible to do a significance or hypothesis test, which would then give us some idea of how much of Turbo's success is down to luck. If there is 1 in a million chance that it's luck then that would obviously shift the evidence in his favor, but since we don't have that information there doesn't seem to be much point in screaming "fixed!" just because Turbo is doing well. Personally, for reasons Turbo has already given, I don't believe that Parx IS fixed.

BTW, I am "Mike". I haven't logged in for ages and lost my password, and also no longer have access to my email account so I couldn't reset it, and had to open a new account. I've let admin know about it. ;-)
