Here are my pet, fuck with my own head 19 numbers. They include the inverted six (13 & 31, 12 & 21, and 23 & 32). Add to that the double numbers (00, 11, 22 and 33). And I add to that the zeros and the fives, (0, 00, 10, 20. and 30), and (5, 15. 25, and 35).

I killed the casino in 34 spins where I noticed these 19 numbers go into a swarm of repeating numbers after they hit. I hate these numbers because they are a pain in the butt to get down. It's so much easier to play 18 on the outside. You get the same kind of dominate phases there too with the outside bets.

I'm done arguing over what's best. I'm done sticking up for reading randomness. I enjoyed Ken's interesting version of hot number betting. I really spent a lot of effort on Turbo's hottest numbers methods and ideas. Randomness has its moments. Trends, patterns, coincidence, all add up to opportunities for me when they tend to continue long enough to exploit them. Most of the experts here know "bet big when you are doing good, bet small when you are doing bad." I heard that one more than 30 years ago. It still holds water for me today.

So, given that, what the heck is there to say? We have the usual Bozo acts, Baloney Festivals, and the ubiquitous morphing of the Martingale to feast on. At least at this forum you can drop the "F" bomb and insult the other guy's mother.

BTW, I wrote a new practice program that proves the existence of dominant random formations in the even chance bets. Like big deal. So what. Who cares? ... and I discovered that a smaller bankroll goes further than when using 24 numbers. Bomb the candlesticks, Swing Trade.

Interesting 19 number bet selection. Just add a proper MM.

I've discovered that a minimum bet, when nothing is dominating, is enough if I can come up with a ratio for a proper bankroll where the big bets sit well with the number of net losses, where that point is realistic or effective. With 24 numbers I would big-bet allowing for 8 net losses. With 18 numbers, even chance bets, I don't think I still need 8 net losses to be a good cut and run point.

I get three and out. But I am backed off at each loss unless there is a perfect pattern going on. Every loss is a signal that something has changed unless you are in a dominance phase. Two losses is a change in that case. Anything that upsets the pattern is a game changer.

I just need a cut point to end a bad session on. I did real well with a bankroll that could take 8 net losses. I almost never reached that point in real play. I want to find an adequate point for even chances too.

Over all net losses occur because of the difficulty of the session being played. If I use $1,000 bankroll and $100 bets then ten net losses is the amount. That's a very bad session if I get 10 net losses. It's easy to play that way at a $5 or $10 table. I still like the idea of three net wins and out, session done.

Got any ideas about your MM suggestion Nate?

Thanks for your reply Gizmo....as I said...I like reading your stuff. Makes me think.

I love probability and statistics, especially in the real world.

You speak of a kind of "hot hand" approach. I like that way of thinking.

Thanks to you too. I do miss talking with real gamblers.

I use all my trend following methods to produce the "hot hand" phases.

I can just bet on the Reds only to get to the "hot hand" too. But if I did that then I would miss out on the Black only "hot hands." So I have all six of the outside bets to find the hot hand stretches. I also have my pet 19 if I see that heat up too. I have my prime 16 too. I could add 2 numbers to that grouping if I want 18 out of that group. Might as well use what I've already trained for.

I've got an idea. I can add two hottest numbers (Ken's style) to my Prime 16. Anything with 18 numbers and the capacity to see the "hot hand."

Yep, it's going to be a very good year.

I truly hope so

I have a great interest in the "Hot hand" theory, in gambling, but in life too.

As for gambling, let me show you this perfect example of the "hot hand"

I guess football (soccer) isnt your bag, but Liverpool FC bought a striker called Mohamed Salah. I had never heard of him

He has been the man of the season

(BTW.... 25 goals in 50 games would be great in general football terms)

He is Egyptian, who arnt renowned as prolific footballers, but just look at his History

Green is club, number is appearances, brackets are goals scored.

Years Team Apps (Gls)
2010–2012
El Mokawloon 38 (11)
2012–2014 Basel 47 (9)
2014–2016 Chelsea 13 (2)
2015Fiorentina (loan) 16 (6)
2015–2016Roma (loan) 34 (14)
2016–2017 Roma 31 (15)
2017– Liverpool 35 (31)

I'm not sure. If the guy is banned from gambling all over town then what the heck is he doing placing or moving bets for others for? Why are they allowing him to film in a live casino? Taking pictures is usually not allowed. But let's let that all go for now. He gets to hit on two fine looking ladies for $100, win or lose, it's a great come on line and he shows that he has money to throw away. He's either a fun guy, or just another fungi.

Can I do better? Nope. That's a slick move.

Turns out my pet 19 is actually 18. I wrote down 00 twice. It's only 17 on a European wheel. Anyway, I killed the casino with these 18 numbers in just 34 spins, the last time I was there.

For MM of those 18 numbers I would consider JP up and pull method.

David Blaine is very talented, i don't know how he did on that one coz i have seen also people explained how he did trick and how he uses partners in the trick. I don't believe the casino is cheating but i wonder how he did it... even if it's a 1/32 event, there s a difference between someone who win a 1/32 once and another one who come and say look we 're going to hit 5 in a row...
Nice one anyway

Figured it out right away.
You have to understand that you're watching a "illusion" - after that, it's easy.
Anyone here could do the exact same thing. Pay attention and notice what you're not noticing.

I do recall that one: I posted https://www.rouletteforum .cc/index.php?PHPSESSID=8823cd14ab8c6a054d7abc81c429952c&topic=5935.0']Homage to John Patrick at rouletteforum .cc back in 2011. Ref; /index.php?topic=5935.0
"The brilliance of John Patrick

It's not in his expertise of randomness or the fact that he follows, tracks, and uses trends to make bet selections. He searches for conditions that fit the situations that he likes best. He then begins to play in those favorable conditions. This should not be underestimated. What John Patrick gives you is far more important than that. It's how he is prepared to react to the play after it starts. He uses a "regression technique" combined with a method he calls "Up & Pull."

For Even Chance bets he plays a money management that goes like this:

Start your series at a unit value of 2.

After a win the regression step occurs. You place your next EC bet at 1.

After that you follow with wins and steps of 2, 3, 4, and 5.

John Patrick - "As you got into the flow of a winning series, you'd be constantly increasing your bet and still be pulling back a profit. Hence the term 'Up & Pull.' "

John Patrick doesn't have a Regression with an "Up & Pull" for double dozen / column bets.

So this is my tribute to him for betting two dozens or two columns, 24 numbers:

5 - 5
6 - 6 -- regression step here after win

4 - 4 -- +3 -- +15 if your reach this far and stop.
5 - 5 -- +5 -- +20 if your reach this far and stop.
7 - 7 -- +6 -- +27 if your reach this far and stop.
9 - 9 -- +9 -- +36 if your reach this far and stop.
10 - 10 -- +14 -- +44 if your reach this far and stop."
Notice the video shows the reader board at the very beginning but the person filming
"knows" to zoom in (or away from it) every time there is a so-called "win".
It's so you can't see the result of the spin.
The reaction of the actors (the two eye candy actors) and the others in on it is enough
to make us think it's actually happening.
In no place does it show the spin results (the camera always zooms away from the reader board
when the result of the spin would be shown).. it's "acting" to make a illusion possible.
Of course the people in on it know the truth but the viewer who's easily fooled would think
it's legit.
I love magic but it's also insulting in so many ways.

Well if it's the trick (if we can call this a trick), this is crap. At a time, i can see the dealer crosses fingers... so he's a partner also.
