    Gizno,

Are you satisfied with 18 numbers and 3-2-3 MM ?

ND, I am very satisfied. It doesn't dig deep holes like 24 numbers does. Yes, you get more wins with 24 numbers but you still get killer sequences, losing streaks. So if you do play into the beginning of a losing streak with 18 numbers it isn't so difficult to recover from it.

You see trends real easy in my method of playing even chances. I have 12 sets from 6 unique groupings of 18 numbered set sizes to select trends from. One group of two sets might be chaos while another group, say the red/black might be in long form repeat clusters. Then there's the global effect where it's your turn to pound the crap out of the casino. When I see a golden opportunity I don't stop at my three net win goal. I like the up & pull method way better than flat betting. I could bet 3, 3, 3, and win 9 instead of 8. But with each win along the way I get 1 for the pocket with 3, 2, 3. If a loss means the end of a three win try, then I'm better off getting a little bit compared to getting nothing. It's comparing 1 more in the pocket or 2 more as apposed to winning one extra flat betting.

Any fool can tell you it's 8 times harder to get 6 wins in a row than it is to get 3 wins in a row. Add to that you can grind out your wins in steps. I can fight for that first net-1-up bet at 3 units until I get it. I then fight for step 2 at 2 units per bet until I have that. The same goes for my last step. Then there's this: I can ride a whirlwind streak of first bets, step one bets, until it loses. Then I can go and use each one of those winners, one at a time, to go for it, step 2 and then step 3. All those bets would be on house's money. You only do that if you see a lot of domination effect occurring after winning a monster streak.

What cracks me up about the mathBoys is that they don't think a player can be at near even in their bankroll and then get in early on a monster streak. It comes down to they tried it and they suck at it. So nobody can do it. So when you hear them saying the things that they say just think that they suck at trend play.

So it's the betting with the house's money that pleases me the most. My focus is on just winning a single net winner. I will win twice as many second steps as I will win third steps. At least with 3, 2, 3, I get paid along the way. In fact I pocket 1 unit for each second step attempted. Then I pocket 1 more unit for each third step attempted. It's Saul Goodman.

So How can they cheat? They're too stupid to learn how to win at trends.

When it comes to trends the big secret or question is how do you know when to bet when you see a trend? For me the answer is to get experience making bets on risk. You must know when a bad streak is working against you. If you can sidestep that then all that is left is good and better. You must have experience in knowing when a trend ends too. So that covers "Knowledge of the game." Everything else is just execution.

Here is an example I just played 2 minutes ago. It's a very difficult session that gets 3,2,3.

    Code:
    | B R | O E | L H | 0 6 | P | S |
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 18
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 4
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 18
    | X | X | X | X | | | -- 7

OK, one last example so it does not become boring. This one uses $5 chips as units or $15 X's 18 on the first step. I turned into a win streak on the "S" column at the end. A hit in the "not-S" set for this group is 20 numbers.

    Code:
    | B R | O E | L H | 0 6 | P | S |
    | X | X | X | X | | | -- 16
    | X | X | X | X | | X | -- 35
    | X | X | X | X | | | -- 19
    | X | X | X | X | | X | -- 22
    | X | X | X | X | | | -- 16
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 4
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 28
    | X | X | X | X | | X | -- 21

    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 17
    | X | X | X | X | X | | -- 04 -- W ( $ 240 )
    | X | X | X | X | X | X | -- 31 -- L ( $ 40 )

They even not try it i guess coz they should know brillant Trend player wouldn't bother to bet 18/24 numbers as suckers... He would play on the markets.

...this is how to argue with a mathNazi:

"The fact is, like many other system players, you're confounded by randomness and so feel the need to make subjective decisions in the belief (and hope) that they will serve you better than "objective" decisions based on math and statistics."

At least you are now willing to admit that there are people that claim to know something about randomness that math people don't need to bother knowing. Math, or arithmetic can't tell you when a trend will start, how long it will last, or when it will end. So mathBoyz are just guessing too.

    --------------------

"Why? because in order to get an edge there must be some objective reality which gives you that edge."

You don't need an edge. Let's be honest here. Mike, you would only accept prediction as the edge that would be enough to consider this "objective." You don't have to know the future in order to guess. That is also objective. You just have to know how, as an expert player, how to live with guesses. I'm suggesting that if you need math to explain randomness then you are just looking at it with subjective eyes. Pot Kettle Black.

    ---------------------

"But those who recommend this subjective approach always have to be vague about just what their "triggers" are."

Oh, really. Perhaps you will listen this time? My "triggers" are when I see a swarm of the same characteristic occurring across many groupings, made up of multiple sets, and even though they discontinue in one set or group, that same characteristic forms in another, then I have a coincidence that has taken form. It's not a mathematical form, at least one that could not be explained by a chaos theoretician. It's there because I objectively positioned myself to notice it. It's not Chaos mambo jumbo either. Perhaps you have overlooked the global effect or the effectiveness states? Those are discloses that are not "this subjective approach." Who is "deluding themselves?"

    -----------------------

"And it's partly arrogance. Why do so many gamblers believe that the math doesn't apply to them? Why do they think they're so much smarter than anyone else and that the experts can be ignored? Maybe it's fear of something they don't understand, so they lash out at anything which looks like "theory". "

Why do so many math-oriented subjective thinkers think that randomness does not offer to them any opportunities? PKB...

Now for the best part. You might gamble. You might not. But you don't see or take part in guessing when monster sized coincidental opportunities appear. You don't get to pick up a bag of gold just sitting there in front of you because worse than being labeled "arrogant," is being labeled subjective. Now I know the narrative is seeing or not seeing reality. But taking a position that you are being objective while labeling others that do things different than you are just arguing from a subjective position is just a little too convenient for my tastes. You were prepared to get challenged weren't you?

Please start with the fact that I have clearly identified my triggers. You might not like them. But a mathematical dogmatic opinion will not make them disappear or impeach them. Less of course that you should slide back to a world of make believe. That is where the easy decisions are made. I agree that most people that talk about "trends" don't actually talk much about it from a scientific perspective. But that does not make it some kind of hardheadedness.

The only difference is in how long it takes to find and execute the changes that anyone might attempt to exploit.
