In your Australian website, she is considered the best, the problem is the best flat racers in the World runs the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in France each year in October, your local champion is 8 years old and never participated, stayed in Australia running against only Australian Horses. So you cannot rate it as the best horse, this is ridiculous.

It is the same for the harness/trotting racers, the best horses in the world runs the Prix d'Amérique at Paris Vincennes. You can have an American champion rated as the best in the World by the Americans, an example comes to my mind with Mack Lobell back in the 80's which was supposed to be unbeatable, until they organised "The March of Dimes", we sent our champion Ourasi and beat him despite having to run outside the pack the whole race.

I'm not a fan of the horses these days. But if I was betting it would only be on a flat race with a decent prize pot.
The bookies already know what you don't most of the time. The odds reflect that. And you never know what shenanigans are going on behind the scenes. A horse that should win can be held off easily.

Apart from Kincsem (another mare) in circa 1874 who according to history was undefeated in 54 race starts, the next two horses in line for undefeated starts are, Black Caviar and Winx, both with 25 victories, both champion Australian mares. Make no mistake; Winx is a world beater wherever she races.

I focused only on trotting races because the horses repeat more their past performances than flat and jump races. I am talking about the average race, of course there are champions that win again and again even on those races, but for the average horse, it is harder to repeat because the effort is more intense (gallop). And here in France we have kilometric reduction for harness races which is useful to compare horse speed on a distance and racecourse given + unshoeing the hooves of the horse which is statistically an advantage which I take into account.

It is not the number of consecutive victories that counts, it is more a question of what horses she beat. If you stay in your town, you will find good runners and be possibly the best runner of your town winning consecutively all the competitions organized in your city. But if you move outside your town to a world championship where you will face stars in other cities all over the world, do you really think you will continue your winning streak?. Of course not, and it is the reason why the team of Winx declined to run the Royal Ascot in England, surely because she would have been defeated and they would lose money by lowering her value as a Brood Mare.

@ payout $1.10 for the next six wins you have bankrolled $10 into $228,379.

She's the best the world has got, and I got the cash to back it up.

Well it's same stuff with boxing... It is not because you've been undefeated that you're the best.

To be the best, you got to fight them all.

    Bago you moron.
That very old thread was a bit of fun trying to parley 7 or so placegetters in a row, nothing more than that.

10 pages of selections trying to go all up 7 times betting $5, $10, $20, and only down -$236 when the thread ends.

Let's see you do better, fool.
