Try to avoid getting back roomed, ok? Apparently, I'll be needing your help in my VP adventures. You did sign up to help me, right?

Yes I'll help in some way.
As for getting backroomed - that's now a lucrative advantage play - I would hope that it happens - major jackpot.

Being backroomed may be a potential advantage situation in a regulated casino where the courts have ruled that counting in your head is not cheating, but in an Indian casino it's likely to be a very different story.

Agree, though illicit back-rooming is technically 'kidnapping', a federal offense.
Fortunately, Blackhawk casinos are not Indian gaming.

A "federal offense" may be meaningless in an Indian casino since the reservation is a sovereign nation.

Zen, I've just recently become aware that in some of the non traditonal gaming states (NJ, NV) there are some non Indian casinos. Short of being rude and asking, is there a subtle way to find out if a casino in a state outside the two mentioned above are non Indian? For instance, I thought BlackHawk was Indian, especially given the name. Would you give me the names of the CO (and, hopefully, CA) ones that aren't Indian? If possible?

Actually, I don't think any of the CO clubs are native owned, but I'll check. OTOH I think all house banked casinos in CA are Indian.

The Boyd multiplyers on past Wednesday's netted some professionals over $100,000

I guess he drew a big multiplier and was able to play $25 denomination or something like that.

That was seniors only, I assume. I was aware of a 30x maximum for VP, and you could swipe at multiple properties for the best multiplier. Each property imposed a cap on multiplied points, but possibly it wasn't always that way. Also it would be easy to win $100 at the drawings.

    VP is now 10x maximum.

Among the major Vegas casino operators, is Boyd generally considered the least competent?

For the duration of the promo, not one day.
