    Sharptracker ,

Very convenient distances for locations . Then there should be competition among those casinos .

    Thanks .

Well, it has nothing to do with US casinos, but really nothing... I've read a book about casino's security in the US, this is just crazy! here, there's even not cleaning stuff programmed on the wheel...

    Here
Contrary to popular believe, the casinos here are not run like military installations. They're run more like the parks and recreations department. They're often very inefficient, full of bureaucracy, internal memos back and forth about the latest sexual harassment and racial sensitivity training protocol etc... They try to hire based on ethnicity and political correctness rather than qualifications. Surveillance rooms are often understaffed, with no more than one competent employee overseeing a small group of interns being paid no more than 12 or $13 per hour. The interns are usually on job for no more than six months to two years before leaving the horrible job and returning to college or a job somewhere else like Walmart. The floor security guards are usually just drones at the bottom rung of the pay scale with some kind of mental or physical disability. Seasoned employees are weeded out after a certain number of years to cut costs via final warning and political games.

Very accurate post, save for the political correctness, inferring that they're somehow being "forced" to hire poor candidates (it's actually a reduction in employee competence the past decade due to constant and unending attempts by management to lower payroll costs).

These companies aren't your local DMV Caleb, relax on the "angry old man" stuff...:)

The CEOs/Presidents of these operations are like any other in the US...they see the highest line item cost on the P/L sheet and it is always 100% "Payroll", and they attack it/reduce it to show their board of directors how valuable they are, thus justifying more compensation and stock options (golden parachutes, etc) for themselves alone.

A flawed system, one capitalism is struggling to find an answer for at the moment as wages are stagnant for everyone without a "CEO" moniker after their name, but one AP players can definitely take advantage of as Caleb stated.

These casinos are not Oceans 11 guys...if you think their security is going to impede your progress somehow, you're mistaken.

It is not because of Ocean11, it was because of a report wrote by an ex manager with every procedures and so on...

But still, you won't find here huge casinos as you would in Vegas, AC... It still has nothing to do with our casinos where you have 3-4 tables opened...

Yes, and at certain points in the past, 20+ years ago at least, they were well-run ships. But now, as Caleb mentioned, they're large corporations with shareholders to endlessly placate. Hence the payroll issues, and a general lowering of the customer experience quality.

For US players, it shouldn't deter them from trying advantage in other words.

Those statements about inexperience completely shows they have no idea how real casinos are run and who the Personnel are in behind the scenes. There is no two ways about it!!!!!!!!
