The conclusion is you need to get away from template play and learn charting. Charting to me is skill. It's like having a strong defense in sport. Can you make a bad shoe looks good through charting. I give you a tip. Record all odd hands separately from even hands and you find a chop is a run.

    God,
If you truly like your system, do this adjustment. Be selective of when to bet and NOT bet every hand. Lower your win goals for a shoe. One problem though i.e. If your series go bust, do you have the patience to grind it back? That's why I insist on a 5 step Marty. You either win and keep on winning till you reach your target, or lose and go home. It's takes the Human factor out.

    Craps ,

Do you think that this cat will listen ? Heck NO . Just like JP " Will you guys listen ? "
    They always know better .

But that`s their way . Why waste our time . Let them discuss the 5 column crap that dead meat . Past decisions are dead as a door nail .

What matters is the next flip of cards or the next spin on the roulette wheel .

Gizmotron - I use the EC’s as well. I think they provide the most stability in roulette. My stop loss currently is 100 and my wins have been 312 and 245 so far in my testing today. I won those two and lost one for 96. I knew another bet would have put me over 100 and didn’t want to get into that habit.

Can i ask further regarding the 5 marty. The reason is after 3 step we're down 11 units... Im trying to find a way to limit losing amts as we get nervous when we have lost 3 in a row. As you can see there are times that is goes 6 losses. Would it be better to start betting after six "losses"? I ask this because mostly i notice that 6-7 nom matching seems to be the max happening here...thanks for the input.

I have tested that in the past and waiting for 6 losses or 10 or whatever does not change things. You still have the same loss strings. The only real difference is that you bet less often.

Your strategy is as good as any, ND. I actually played a several practice shoes today experimenting with your strategy, ending with positive results.

Just to let you know your bet selection is good as any other. It's the Grand Marty that is giving you the profit. But according to your system, you are abusing it. You can try this. Record the shoe in groups of 3. Wait for a group to go LLL than observe next group to see if any W in the group. If there is, play the next group and stop. Repeat the process. Win 2 groups and done with the shoe regardless of win total. If your series goes bust repeat process but play 2 groups instead of one to recoup the losses faster. Good Luck!

    @ fathead,

My loss limit to the above posted bankroll criteria is 25% or 3 losses in a row . Considering winning 2 out of 3 sessions time for a break .

Your strategy makes sense. You play Banker only, lowest house edge. Your money is made on Banker streaks. Banker wins more than Player (hence the need for commission) so Banker has the longest and most frequent streaks. Also if you lose on a "1" bet Player, the next bet would be "2" Banker when it shows so you have a slight Martingale working for you.

I did not use any stop loss but have played around with it on numerous consecutive shoes quitting after a long Banker streak or, if the hole, close to break even or up slightly. I am up probably $3000 using $100 units on these practice shoes.

Don't feed the losing streak. Keep making guesses, or rule based selections as in your case, but don't fund them. You are obviously using a chart of some kind. Figure out a way to mark the chart with a representation of a "virtual bet." I play at casinos where you must place a bet each spin (I know, Roulette), so I place a $5 bet on red or black. It's the minimum that the table will accept. When the losing streak comes to it's dramatic end I go back to my old real bets and my version of bet selections. So if you lose a Grand Martingale, make sure that there are not more lost Grand Martingales lurking nearby. At least this way you will likely only experience one lost progression and not all that are coming together in a swarm. All this technique does is get rid of the bad swarms. These bad swarms are known as "the sequence of death." They are the real killers of progressions.

You can never know when a single progression killer will come along but you can defend against a swarm of them. It takes all the killed progressions to make the math come out in favor of the casino. If you can stay out of some of them then the math goes to your favor. Now the mathboyz will say that you can't know that you are in a swarm of killer sequences. But I do it all the time and prove those boyz wrong. It is the single reason I hold disdain for them. All they have are their assumptions. In that alone they think they are right. And they always think that I am wrong. It's a funny world ---this.

What i have been doing is using the progression of 1-3-7 until I hit 3 losses in a row. I then stop if im up 8 or more units. If I'm not up at least 8 units I will just flat bet the remainder of the shoe using 1 unit bets.

If I also have a win on 1 my next bet would be 2 in context with the 2-1-2 method . It is an abstract from the Up and pull version .

I just did a test where I lost the three steps twice and yet cleaned up. I flat bet at 7, not 1. I wanted to see what I would win at one hour of play at a brick and mortar casino. I really like this technique it requires about 200 units for the first lost GM. After that it requires 126 units for each 7 times flat bet. It's combining flat betting and the Grand Martingale. It actually looks pretty good. Course, I'm an expert at flat betting and guessing better than 2 to 1 already at flat betting.
