    Gizmotron ,

Baccarat as an EC is entirely different from the roulette EC bets . That`s why there are so many losers at Baccarat. They won`t admit it but they are . Gr8player , if you remember him from GG was one if them .

Last I saw of him was at Bet Selections and some one posted that he had died a while back .

Keep believing what you want, jbs. Figures you would buy into what AP Heat is posting. Fact is that there a substantial number of occurrences in baccarat that do not fall within the confines of 'Bank has the edge, bet on Bank only'.

The same types of occurrences happen everywhere in life and in the financial markets, but that does not fit within the math boys neat and eloquent formula for the game. So they huff and puff in a corner with their numbers and formulas. That's great!

Betting on Bank only is a system, bruh - duh.

I'm not sure that I actually fit as a system player as much as a conditional awareness player. I use "trends and patterns," reading randomness, to make bet selections that have no mathematical chance of beating the odds. Yet I know how to win at about a 2 to 1 ratio on Even Chance games. It is my contention that the world wide brain trust on probability mathematics will or must at some point explain what it is that I'm doing that differs so radically from their "absolutist" positions. But not before I clean up and pad my retirement plans. So I'm sort of in defiance to your position or at least it looks that way to me. But, to your credit, your position appears to be in the majority for the time being. What you say is the known science. But opinions often change once new evidence is presented that contradicts known or accepted opinions.

Is it because of the Tie rules or advantage?

A very simple explanation . At roulette Black or Red are alternating and this fact is right in front of you .

It`s more transparent even with the zeros .

More in my comfort zone .

Worse than a coin flop to be honest . In the last second it can bite you .

That`s why I suspended the Up and Pull method at Baccarat for the 2-1-2 .

Gr8 player was a great person. Some time ago he was invited with me in Malaysia and Singapore by a very high stakes player offering us zero expenses on losses and 30% on profits and we both declined.
Curiously this high stakes player hadn't offered the same deal on other auto proclaimed "I can't lose" geniuses.

Be more respectful talking about a person you really knew anything about him.

His strategy was a lot more advanced than betting banker after a banker apparition.

    as.

I got the same offer and even more. I thought that Gr8player was a fantastic intellect and really friendly at sharing his concepts of gambling. He really gets it. He gets randomness and self control and all that stuff.

And in short, what were his concepts of gambling ?

I start to think that Baccarat is a dangerous game, so many good players passed away : Norm Allen, Gr8player, ...

All you have to do is read what he has shared in the forums. Perhaps someone has a few links to get you started.

    Mark ,

I believe that GG is gone and the only links to Gr8player posts might be at the Bet Selection forum .

N.B. Considering that Gr8player and I exchanged many posts and e-mail the subject of Baccarat was never touched . The conversations were confined to the subject Atlantic City and its casinos .

I had a general idea about the size of chips he used but that was all .

Thank you, fellas, for your kind words. Nate, Asym, Giz, gentlemen all....it's nice to know that even after my supposed passing there are forum members that both remember and appreciate the quality and substance of a true Baccarat aficionado.

Obviously, the story of my demise is, to use the vernacular of the times, "Fake News". I'm quite certain of the origin of that nasty rumor, but it is not my wish to rehash, nor resume, an ages-old feud. But those that have known and followed me over the years know exactly to whom I'm referring, and spreading disgusting rumors like my supposed death are but the least of his problems.

I simply chose to exit these forums a few years ago. As a matter of fact, I've never even been a member at this one before today. But I felt the need to assure those that obviously did care somewhat of my well-being that I am alive and well.

I chose to exit because I felt that I had said, pretty much, all that I needed to say about myself and my approach to the game of Baccarat. I felt that those that followed my posts in these Baccarat forums either got it and understood what I was saying, or, frankly, never would.

Now, that said, believe me when I report that there are scores of Baccarat players that have adopted my tenets, my approach to this game, my "Player's Edges", my bet-selection processes, my money-management techniques; many players....even those on paid-subscription sites, are both espousing and utilizing these very same methodologies.

As for myself, I play Baccarat 4 days per week, mid-week, both at AC and CT. And I am doing well. I accept my wins; and I say that meaning that I'll simply leave the table with a win...any win...rather that potentially see it turn into a loss. If you know anything of me, you know me to be a rather conservative player; and I know both mine and this game's strengths, and, yes, weaknesses.

And so I know this after all these years of Baccarat: it is only the Baccarat PLAYER that can control their ultimate outcome, both session-wise and long-term-wise. One must learn to control that which they can control at this game. One must be able to recognize both the good and the bad; and then, frankly, know exactly what to do about either.

Oh boy....I'm beginning to see where this is headed....I'll be getting into my Patience and Discipline theories pretty soon....and, frankly, as I said before, I'm not really into posting in the forums anymore. I've said enough. Those that wish to learn more could find alot more of me with a bit of digging on the 'net. Neither my plays nor my theories have changed over the years, so if you find the info to assist you in your play, it's all still relevant for me.

Take care, fellas, and be well.

Is it resident evil in here ?

As a true Baccarat aficionado as well, if you are the real Gr8player, let's share some stuff in here as you seem to be well appreciated.
