    Poll initiated as per:
Poll closes within 7 days of its creation. Votes are private, so no one will know how you voted. Results cannot be seen until one votes. Votes cannot be changed once submitted.

If the yea's win by a supermajority of at least 2/3 (greater than 66.66% of the vote) by the time the poll closes, member "John Blerg" will be tagged as a "Troll" for at least 1 year. In order to be untagged, a new motion to remove the tag will have to be brought forward and voted on after 1 year.

If the yea's do not win by a supermajority, then this motion will be tabled and will not be allowed to be brought forward for at least 6 months.

The purpose of the tag would be to make others aware that this community considers John Blerg a troll and to therefore not take their provocations seriously so that they don't engage or otherwise feed the troll, so it won't matter if it bothers John Blerg or not. Furthermore, if John Blerg gets tagged as a troll, a signature will also be added to all their posts with a quick link to ignore all their posts so that they don't appear at all. Trolls tend to enjoy provoking those who do not realize they are being trolled. This will mitigate that, and a troll with no audience is no troll at all.

Acting weird is a well thought out game plan by J. Blerg . Do not feed his thread with postings . Let it whither on the vine .

The yea's have it by a supermajority. As a result, John Blerg has been tagged as a Troll.

This action has no effect on John Blerg's ability to post in this community.

After a year has passed from the date of this post, a new motion can be brought forward to vote on removing John Blerg's Troll tag based on their ongoing behavior in this community.
