Roulette If Random Means Totally Unpredictable

    If the result of an event such as the spinning of a roulette wheel is random does that mean that it is totally unpredictable?

    No.

    Because if that was true you would have to say that it is possible that no roulette wheel in the world would come red for the next 10 years

    and everyone know that is impossible - it could not happen

    but is there enough predictability within a random event to overcome the house edge in a house game such as roulette

    I don't think so
