Blackjack Travelling with large amounts of cash

Discussion in 'Blackjack Forum' started by nighterfighter, Jul 14, 2019.

  1. Hi guys,

Does anyone have any advice regarding travelling with large amounts of cash, (Over $1000, not considered large by card counting standards, but definitely outside of the average for most travelers) specifically through airports on a domestic flight? (US, sorry Freightman :beguiled: ) Is there anything to worry about regarding TSA? I know there isn't a legal limit for domestic flights, just wondering if you guys had any experience with it.

I'm going to Las Vegas for DefCon, and using credit cards is a bad idea that week, so our group is just bringing cash for everything for the week. (Every year, the hotel credit card terminals/ATMs get hacked, the wifi gets hacked, last year the slot machines at the Linq were glitching out for a while across the whole casino floor)

    Thanks!

    Source.

You shouldn't have any problem with amount under 10k, but you could just get a money order from yer bank and cash it when you get to Vegas, hey hey.
