Yes, why not? But for new players/beginners, it's best to tae advantage of free play or bonuses and set limits to your playing.

 

I've won many times w/out bonus. I never use a bonus when I deposit. With bonuses comes rules and requirements that benefit the casino.

I agree with what was said before. Bonuses are in no way a requirement to win. You must take into account that in order for any winnings you got by playing your bonus to actually become yours, you must wager your deposit (and/or bonus) 40x on average (depends on the casino a bit). While if you deposit without bonus, you must only wager your money 1x.

However, a bonus is a good way to "get to know" a casino before you start depositing more money. In this case a bonus allows you to play more without having to deposit more. That way you can try more games, support, their deposit/withdrawal processes and so on.

And regarding game choice, slots have the highest RTP. That is if you aren't proficient in any table game. If you "master" poker or blackjack, that would be a better option in the long run in my opinion.
