Decades is a big word. IMO maybe not decades, but over 7 years for sure to get to a level where you’re wins are more than your losses. Most (MOST not all) players are in denial. They think they win more than they lose, because they win 3 sessions and lose only one, but the “one” they lose wipes out the other 3 wins.
Moreover, I think it’s all about “bet selection”, and discipline. Some will say money management (MM) is the key, but no matter how good your MM, if your bet selection sucks, then all the MM in the world isn’t going to save you. At some point you need to review your scorecards on the kitchen table and analyze your play. Take some stats to track your improvements by tracking your win rates and player advantage.

Sorry, we have to agree to disagree on this one. Bet selection is DESTINY. No one can dare to come out and say a definite way of selecting B or P. MM can make something work in the long run but it has to come with discipline.

Lets dig deeper. Can you say you win more than lose with the first hand out of the shoe? What about 2 hands? So after a number of hands, there is a law saying certain things will happen more than others? Looking at the whole shoe would cloud some people's mind thinking BS can be mastered. If you study closely, 20 hands is the criteria for a lot of people to decide BS. There are 1,048,576 ways a 20 hand outcome can be form. You may think an assortment of BP within 20 hands is definitely MORE than 20 B's in a row. 20 B's is rare so is a single permutation of 20 mixture of BP but is NOT perceived that way.

Your way of BP selection is going for you and that is normal but it may not be for me doing exactly what you do. That is the reason you can't explain your success because you got nothing to support it. You can only make people envy you.

    THe QUOTE OF THE DAY.

there is similar dynamic at play in both. is playing not to lose, or brake even , requires just as much work then winning ?
if one knows how to brake even, not lose, well how does he do it ? there lays the wisdom of ancient times, lol.

Yep. And kudos to you having a 65% strike rate. 35 units every 100 wagers pretty impressive. I don't come lose to that.
