Can anyone tell me the chances of 11 players in a row. I have found on the wizards site the figure
0.0002127 but I don't know what this means. Id like to know the 1 in X times figure ideally or a more understandable figure for a newbie.

    Thanks in advance

Take your calculator and punch 2x 11 times. That is without the House Edge 1.24%

This is actually a trick question. Baccarat is not flipping coin. After certain cards are out, the remaining deck might favor B or P more thus making the probability of 11 Player different everytime. You can argue and say 11P is 2 to the power of 11 which is 1 in 2048.

Player wins 49.3% of all winning hands. Banker wins 50.7% of all winning hands.

Starting from zero wins, the probability that Player will win eleven hands in a row, not counting ties, is 0.493^11. Which is 0.493 times itself eleven times. Which equals 0.000418, or one in 2,392.

If Player wins ten hands in a row, the probability that it will win the next hand is one in 2.03. Not, one in 2,392.

No matter how many times in a row the Player side wins, the probability of Player winning the next hand is still 49.3%, and the probability of Banker winning the next hand is still 50.7%.

Perfect explanation but still imperfect because of the fact that if more 4,5,6 are out, the probability declined a bit for player hand to hold it's standard percentage.

Only by a very small percentage, and only when an equal number of cards favorable to the Player are not dealt.

Never enough to make counting cards worthwhile in Baccarat.

On average, an equal number of cards favorable to each side will be dealt to offset any advantage to either side.

No cards massively favor one bet over the other.

Removing the 2,3,4 and 5 favors Banker.

Removing the 8,9,10 and the paints, favors Player.

Removing the 6 and 7 and Aces has no effect.

Very true but card counters still thinks the miniscule imbalances is an exploitation of the game. My take on this is in theory yes but how the hell are they going to execute in a live game?

That would be about 2 times out of 10,000, if that number is correct. Seems like it should be more like 4 times out of 10,000.

10,000 decisions would be about 138 shoes if 8 deck.

Hahahhaah. Give the guy a break, will ya? He's up there in the cold with a pencil and paper writing down Party Poker shoe results in his notepad. He's got a couple thousand more hours to go before he finishes his 10,000 shoe test!

Let's see. . . . 40 hours a week . . . we'll be hearing the same mantra for the next year or so. Ignore it. Everyone else does.
