its nothing like that my friend trust me. I watched a video of a player who mentioned it and I was surprised myself of his statement and that is why I mentioned it. nothing I had ever noticed but it is from a player who is a older guy who seem to be a honest person and played all over the world. I know anything is possible in some parts of the world where greed lives and that I believe. I did witness cheating in vegas from a dealer in a blackjack game so it does exist.

Craps I have a question for you since I know you are a Marty player and it seems you have lots of mileage under your belt.
    1. are you still using losing a virtual bet before entering your 5 step Marty and if you do,do you find it beneficial ?
    2. if you are using the virtual loss do you see in your data that it reduces your hand/loss ratio ?
    3. between losses of the 5 step marty what is the shorter amount of hands played you saw before losing another progression ?

if you dont mind answering I would appreciated , thx. I have lately introduce a first loss before getting into my progression and have gotten great results . it could be just luck but I dont think so. I could now still played a 6 step marty but only lose 30 units instead of 60 playing after losing that first bet. which is really good for my bankroll , and I know it takes me more waiting time but that is a small price to paid in order to get a bigger edge.
    Cheers.

This is a “how long is a piece of string” question. As everyone has a different set of records that don’t necessarily become a world standard deviation. Undoubtedly craps has a different destiny and his results may or may not be of use to the rest of us, I should think of no use as I agree with him on that statement he made previously.

You maybe better off going back through your own records and applying the parameters you listed above as that may give you a truer meaning using the selection criteria you use. Then again I’m assuming you and craps are using a different selection/trigger criteria to each other. If you are using exactly the same criteria as craps then it may actually help you. But I don’t think so as your tilt factor may not be as volatile as craps or more so . Too many variations therefore how long is a piece of string , good luck. Cheers

I never stick to one approach fits all type. After I had decided over my 5 hand bet selection which is 1 out of the 32 permutations which I feel is not going to appear because it had appeared too many times, I would choose a trigger as entry point. The trigger itself comes from many options that I had designed in my collection. Then come the real bet which like you used, one virtual loss with a 6 Marty before continuing with the remaining 5 bets using 5 Marty or other design like choosing to observe bet selection has won 2 series for 2 units and then win a unit with the 3rd series. It is endless the way I designed but the main idea is to Hit & Run 1 unit win and done. The next unit will be played with a new set of design. I just need 8 units a day.

Hi,buddy I know u do not blindly marty on B/P outcomes,Could u share just a few triggers& patterns from ur vastly designed collection to give us an idea of devising new triggers of our own,
Secondly as u mentioned u play 6 marty, with ONE virtual loss, & then Marty 5 times,so that virtual loss is the trigger to bet, if u have a Virtual win in the first place then u don't play that pattern, Am I correct ? ,thanks for ur cooperation

This is a classic example of gambler's fallacy or gambler's ruin. Just because something has "appeared too many times" does not mean that everything is expected to return to equilibrium next.

I know this sounds like RR is also suspect. But what is really going to happen is that your next choices will show one of three states of effectiveness. Whatever happens next will all be by randomness and coincidence. It will not be because it has appeared too many times. Things continue until they change. looking for a useful connection will have no effect on what will happen randomly.

Now this gambler's fallacy stuff is all over the internet in dictionaries, wikis, encyclopedias, and just about every gambling forum on earth. Nothin is due to happen. I don't enjoy being the messenger. But there is a standing decorum on this forum for many years. Someone here always stands up to the happy progression player. To this date there has never been a long lasting progression player that stays around. Perhaps you will be the first?

well Gizmo, being a roulette player much more then a bac player i anderstand your point and I agree that gambler's fallacy is real, but gambler's fallacy I think has to do more about "why" we raise a bet then anything else.
I have and am watching millions of data in my years of gambling and I believe in what I call "reverse gambler's fallacy".
have you notice when you watch lots of your singles on the weak side, no matter how many, you will make a bet on a next single that it will "continue" at least once or more before ? (I know you know).
that is the reverse fallacy and it is real that even if that cigar has been consumed mostly there is always a "last puff" available.
Craps makes connection to the other side of this and there is a place for that, would you agree ?
that with data and keeping track of what has happen you could anticipate certain patterns or groups, or certain dozens to be showing up in clusters when you know within x-amount of spins they have not been there ?
a example is the days where you use to chase the big streaks you said in the old days you were involve with.
you knew ,lets said, 6 reds in a row never showed up within 200 spins. so you see that within 300,400 spins, for sure you will get one at least, and so you prepare your stack of chips in front of you ready to be fired, but you dont know the exact time when, but you know it will happen soon now. that is not gambler's fallacy, it is based on what is real and based on your data.
there is why we all need to come together and anderstand we are not taking risks blindly.
it is a two edged sword and Craps, yourself are not just newbies into this world of statistics and we need to cut eachother more slacks then we do, and we dont always use the right words when we said something but it does not mean we dont know what we are doing. like the good book says, there is a time and a season for everything.
even if we saw there was a absence of certain groups or patterns that has not happen in a long time, we can be awakened to that fact and anticipate that something will "bring it to life".
same thing the other way around, its happening a lot right now, I can bet it will continue just a little more and so I am in....
anticipating for a run of that 6 in a row can take longer then we are willing to wait, getting older as a way to teach you not to chase the gazelle anymore, maybe chasing the wild pig is easier, he doesn't run as fast, lol.
    Cheers.

thanks for your inputs, but so you do make use of virtual losses if I anderstand how you play, but not the same triggers.
makes sens if it works for you it works for you.
stoping after a hit I agree is crucial ,hit and run . I have no doubt it is the secret sauce and am a firm believer in it.
    Cheers

You are absolutely correct. In Baccarat, one have to lived in the Baccarat World and NOT the REAL World. Otherwise, no one would play. And there is that INDUCTIVE reasoning too. What IF the Law of Averages which is a fallacy decided to sneak up? I am just making sure if that happens, I will be on the plus side.
Hey, you do have a BIG competitor on YouTube. Master of Baccarat. His PATTERN RECOGNITION vs. your READING RANDOMNESS. At least he send his subscribers countless situations and SPOON FEED them on what to bet. And you? Playing with other people's money and lost?
Anyway, using Bet Selection is definitely ALL FALLACIES.

When I decided to make a comeback to playing Baccarat, I used to do that added manufactured true probability AS trigger. The drawback is the WAITING time needed is exhausting. I once waited for 58 blocks of 5 before making a bet. Now, I got lazy with the dozens or more of my MASTER bankroll win that I actually simplifies the process a bit.
I would use a 3 step Marty at SPECIFIC PLACES and not anywhere else in the shoe and it HAS TO COME before the actual 5 Marty making me enjoy the probability of an 8 Marty with the bankroll of a 5 Marty. HIt & Run for 1 unit.

Poor Ravi. You just come in all the time requesting SPOON FEED type of play. If you want that, spend some money and buy Baccarat systems. They ALL do work when they are working. You can make them work if you Hit & Run with lots of charting. I don't call them scammers. They DO offer you a designed play. It's up to you to make them work. I do disagree with the sale price if it goes over $19.99. Check out letstalkwinning.com. Izak Matatya is your host.
Anyway I will gave you some of mine later if that is what you want.

good point and I am sure we do use different criteria. I just believe that regardless of the criteria since Craps has done both, using virtual losses and just not using virtual losses, that he could see if it made a difference in his game.
I think no matter the criteria the use of those virtual losses should either be a plus or not dont you think ?
but I could be wrong, for I have no clue of what his triggers are and I will always just go by my own results as a final said.
    I bet 1% of my bankroll online as a rule. 500=5 $.
I have doubled it 5 times so far and because I dont trust online fully I dont see myself taking more risk. they just introduced real live bac tables here and soon will increase the limits. Colorado is growing like crazy and the 77th amendement all ready passed and so it is all ready to go, cant wait.
but I need to see if the stadiums games will be better with their lower minimum bets and higher ups, will see.
    Cheers,

That is absolutely wonderful that you are using known axioms with mathematical reference to identify conditions. You are creating your own constructs to identify formations. That is the flaw in Reading Randomness. I used my own constructs. In the end you come up with your own readable language. Someone I know referred to this method as creating a construct language.

I try to be careful in listening to others when they try to create different ways to identify conditions. Baccarat has it's own language.

Correction. Playing with another person's money and losing it. The rest of it was all my own.

Creating something as a guide to make selections in a game of chance is guessing. Without a guide, after a while, guessing is a headache. Your RR is certainly a guide. By the way, if RR gives you a WL of 2 to 1 long term, you wouldn't be posting here.

Gamblers' fallacy is 50% of the equation. Law of big numbers is the other. If you kept preventing yourself for paying attention to so called overdue outcomes, that means there is exploitation in Baccarat OVERALL. I do believe for the records of one individual bettor, there are tons of situations to be exploited but do you know which one? Till the day you stop betting and looked back at ALL your records you will then find them. Therefore, I constantly trying to find mine. You make it sound you wanted a PERFECT approach which you can win every time. It's all about how to win. My approach is about how to avoid losses and that is the reason I use real Math based probability. That way, I will take a whole CHUNK of the Human Factor off.

You should try having your spine crushed, losing the life you trained for to be your success in life, and then failing at gainful meaningful employment as a 50+ year old programmer around the time of the Dot Com collapse. I'm not blaming anyone or claiming victimhood. Let's just say that the dice rolled badly for me and I'm struggling to survive. I have about $200 extra per month so I'm doing fine. So what you should be asking me is if this works as I say, then why did I give it away. Nikola Tesla. He handed over his patent to Westinghouse for AC current generation in order to combat the attack from Thomas Edison. He died all alone penniless. I did this because I had two schools where I taught trend and pattern recognition in double dozen RR studies. So I gave this final version away for free. You see, fine people on-line hate my guts for charging for tutoring gambling on line. In all that I made from less than a dollar per hour to about $9 per hour in some cases. These classes went on for about two months each.

I should have been dead decades ago when I had money and went on life threatening adventures every weekend. Talk about scary. I once tried a 100 foot ski jump that was supposed to be a simple ramp over a 45 degree slope for a landing 100 feet below. I couldn't see the ramp from above like I would have from the side and lamely hit the ramp way way faster than I should have. I jumped from 700 to 800 feet and it looked really bad there for a few seconds as I was still headed up and out over the 45 degree face as the world fell away. For a brief few seconds it looked like I would fly all the way down a 1000 ft mountain side, in the air, and land on a lateral moraine of giant 6ft to 10ft boulders.

So if I screwed this up and it becomes too late for me to capitalize on it then I will just thank my lucky stars that I lived the day that I fly on skis where the airplanes go. People telling me what I can and can't do are mostly useless to me. They have no concept of risk from my perspective.

But you. You are a risk taker too. You are barging ahead no matter what others say. Good on you, as they say down under.

there is no shame in not taking chances that do not pan out, plus how do we measure a good life ? by having money ?
no way, health is much valuable. time spent with friends ,enjoying life is what it is all about.
life can be difficult at times Gizmo, and you probably like myself could look back and know you could of easily be gone off this world. but you'r still standing like the song says, and so do I.
I too love the rv life and like to take off in the winter to arizona or california, love the heat, the drive, not knowing where we will spend the night sometime, but the feeling of not being attached to a house feels good, even know its good to come back home at some point.
my favor pass time is writing songs and playing my guitar and that is a true therapy for me, love it.
gambling and playing roulette, baccarat , these have to be done carefully and can be reward full , a passion that runs in our blood, a addiction that we must tame like having a wild horse or it will kick you in the balls.
but we much keep hope and faith at all cost no matter what is happening , or life is not worth living, no matter how much we make.
I like to think that making a difference in other's life is what it is all about.
my worst nightmare would be to wake up knowing I made all that money, millions, and did nothing to help those who did not get the chance that most of us got.
I can give myself credit for my talents, ect.... but really, I could of been born a mess, no legs, blind, ect.....so all the credit does not into my account only.
knowing I just lived a life of being a selfish bastard is my choice yes, but what a faillure in my book.
    God bless,

    My edit
    Yes agreed
This is where I endorse craps destiny theory, it rings true. Please consider the next statement

90% of people that cross this freeway either die or at seriously maimed, the authorities have declared this freeway a death trap.
So out of 100 people that use thi road ,90 are injured etc. Now we can concur at a casual glance the stats are telling the truth and everyone in future will not use that road but use the longer road to get across town.
What was failed to be mentioned was that the 90% casualties are all deaf , blind and semi crippled people crossing a road. The other 10% have no known disabilities.
Please no disrespect to anybody with above mentioned disability is not my intention.

So to sum up yes craps record of results re virtual bets has some weight mainly to him , for the rest of us it should be but a passing reference, a road sign at minimum. Our own observations and results obtained by our own unique method( assuming we have a dedicated method) should be the one and only influenced decisions we make.
As craps quite rightly posts his method constantly changes at any given point in time, if we could mirror exactly his actions and get the same same results then his historical data would be of tremendous value to us. But it ,in its present application is only of value to craps ( rightly so) and of little or next to no value to anyone else other than a curious value to a potential building of a method based loosely on some varying craps principals. Too many variations but as stated his results are worthy of consideration. You rinad will definitely have different results compared to everyone else, that is the important thing to remember and there is the 98% self endorsement you require the other 2% comes from the various sign posts along the road , ( that being advice from craps , me or anyone else this forum) good luck and cheers.
