    But if you have a few backup bankrolls and want to take a bigger risk, a 500 unit bankroll can grow pretty quick. You just have to work out your structure and model your goal in a way that accepts losses but grows at a faster rate. There is a good balance somewhere, but I’m not sure of the positive formula.

    Well you said you once got clipped for about -1600 unit. So, with my rule of thumbs for bankroll I'd need say 3300 unit to play Oscar grinds yer style confident and without fears, hey hey.

    Don’t take that as a given, here in skippy township they throw the rookies on the stadium and it is a total waste of time. Another reason I went rng no mistake etc.
    Jae if I send you a list of results from rng stadium about 300-600 conservative results and if you have time would you model your approach to the few games? Cheers

    The largest bet I made so far is 72 units. Max drawdown -502 for the shoe.
    Lucky part was this is betting on player so no commission. Profit +83 units.

    About 2&1/2 to 3 hrs play rng this was actually a 1/2 price bank win table as you all seem to be only able to play commish table you can deduct 5% if you want.
    This was a random average rng game session.
    Using a 4 drop trigger for 5 step Marty you won 42 units but lost 64 net loss of 22 units but gee you had fun.
    Using a 6 drop trigger you fared a bit better but you still lose. And not as much fun as the 4 drop trigger.

    I think nearly every other way made money but I could be wrong, cheers.

    i subscribe to the old adage that ya ain't fix what ain't broke, but still was wonderin if perhaps the Holloway style might be a wee bit better than the Oscar grinds? What I like about the Holloway style is that yer potential risk and profit is defined where with Oscar that stuff ain't defined, hey hey.

    I see you mention you have a plan A,B,C, D and E. Would you mind telling us in detail your recoup strategy for each plan. I believe it would help us Marty users know how to recoup our losses after a bust. Again thanks for all your advice/help for us Marty players in this forum.

    Jae just want to ask one question about your system, was wondering if you ever tested using OG then jumped into your betting with a negative progression, seems to me all those chops would bring some unit wins, then when your banker runs hit bang it all comes your way since you need to hit clumps of banker any way?

    If I could predict a chop, I’d 100% use a negative progression to take advantage.

    But no, I’ve never done it. I don’t mind chops, I look at them as helpful ways to get my unit count up without losing anything in the process. If I were to progress off of OG on a chop and lose, it would throw my system off a bit, I would either have to accept the loss of the units in the progression, or continue OG at the point of progression, which could end up being something that could potentially put me at ruin if it’s a deep grind.

    With that said, I had ran numerous tests with a reverse grind, and chops are beautiful for that method, still haven’t played any live action, but I plan on posting more about it later to see if anyone has any good ideas to utilize it with.

    Betting a lot more than necessary, with the same end result.

    Flat betting the shoe would have lost 6 units plus another 1.25 units in commissions, for a net loss of 7.5 units

    Betting OG won 3 units, but after 9.25 units in commissions, the net loss was 6.25 units.

    Flat betting beginning at the -20 point, would have ended up breaking even, but losing .75 units after commissions.

    Betting OG from the -20 point, would have won one unit, minus 1.4 units in commissions, for a net loss of 0.4 units.

    There is no advantage to betting OG. It only increases the size of the average bet, and increases commissions proportionately. In the end, your risk of ruin is increased exponentially, and you end up winning or losing the same amount. Provided you don't bust first.

    There is also the risk that your bet size will grow to exceed the table limit.

    I've done simulations starting with a $10 betting unit that busted $1 million bankrolls.

    Thanks for your comment, but come back when you know what you’re talking about. If you do know what you’re talking about; then teach me how to make 200 units a day flat betting, because that’s what I make with OG.

    he misunderstood what you do after-20 by starting at a higher unit level. But you're not exactly flat betting.

    No misunderstanding. Starting with a one unit bet at the -20 point where Jae would have started betting one unit, you would end up plus one unit, as Jae showed. You would also lose 1.4 units to commissions, for a net loss of 0.4 units.

    Flat betting those same hands would have lost 0.75 units.

    Betting from the beginning of the shoe, just in those final 25 hands alone, that ended +1, a total of 130 units were bet on Banker. The total commissions on those 130 units is 6.5 units. For a net loss of 5.5 units.

    Flat betting from that same point, only a total of 12 units would have been bet on Banker. The commissions on those 12 units would have been 0.6 units. For a net loss of 1.6 units over those same 25 hands. Flat betting lost four less units than OG, with less than one tenth the amount bet.
