It seems to me your WHOLE PROBLEM lies with your discipline, not your play. You can't seem to LEAVE after hitting your profit target. And if you can't control yourself in that simple context, your headed for doom. I don't mean to sound harsh or mean, cause I think we have all been there. But man, if this is how you make your living, and you don't have the control to leave when, say, $300 ahead, it's impossible to be a success. You can't walk away a winner UNLESS you walk away a winner!!!! So work on your head, man. Tell yourself once that simple profit target is hit, YOUR DONE... Sometimes you really want to lose subconsciously, due to "life issues", but I'm not enough of a psychiatrist to help you with that. Really, JUST DO IT, should be automatic without any thinking involved. Hit $300? I'm done. I'm out. I'm gone. It's that simple. NOT simple to implement, based on your own personal demons. I wish you the best, cause you need help. Not with the play, but with your HEAD!!!!

Every Baccarat player is giving the advice you are giving. I read this whole thread and everyone is helpful but not one come out with the root of the problem. Don't do this. Don't do that is not the answer. The answer lies in HOW DID ONE WIN IN THE FIRST PLACE? Don't talk about what to do after the wins. HOW DO YOU WIN and why do you win?
If you use a progression, your win/loss is decided when your progression went bust and see whether those prior fractional wins are enough to cover the loss. If it can and do the same for a long period of time, then you have a winning method. If you want your progression to be infallible and quit after it fails even the fractional wins are decent, then you shouldn't play with a progression. There are many people that do this because they SPENT their winnings and when the bust comes, the losses will deemed substantial and naturally abandon it. Martingale is a good example.
Its funny how people allowed a bigger STOP/LOSS amount and a lower STOP/ WIN amount. It should be the other way around. This demonstrates the mentality of bad turn good is the more popular approach. The COMEBACK. The most satisfying win. The feel good win.
An ADVANTAGE player is someone who quits EARLY in the game when losing a few units and win as much as it permits when winning.

Two actions you can improve as a Baccarat player.
1.Adopt the HIT & RUN strategy to get yourself into a WINNING HABIT. Usually this is done with a progression because of probability. After a while quitting while ahead suddenly becomes so easy.

    2. Hurting the House with the House winnings. Think and act like the House by having a minimum bet and a maximum bet when you start. 1 to 3 units is ideal. Make a lot of 1 unit flat betting to get warmed up and use 2 or 3 units very sparingly and if things are not going well. QUIT. Take the loss and tell yourself you had your chances. NO comebacks.
Take a long break. Next round, play with 1-5 units. Play tighter when losing and play a bit aggressive when winning. Prepare to lose meaning you need to do things negatively and NOT only positively. NO consecutive winner is a common killer when you don't use a progression. I usually bet like this when I am away vacationing in an out -of-state casino and not doing my daily grind at home in Vegas.
