So waiting x spins like wait 4; there are many wins. Like your wait till 7.

I tested with set of spins that I have and unfortunately it is losing with given progression if I chose to play 1 to 10 spins. There will be sessions that don't seem to recover from original loss.
You may try the attached file to test and verify yourselves(I got a net (-773) loss for 2064 spins)
Win sessions :197, lose sessions :48 out of total 245 sessions.

With the same spins, what can work is following modification(for playing 1 to 10 spins):

• wait for a virtual loss(we should have loss in 10 sequential spins, then we have a trigger to bet)
• Start bet with original progression(1,1,1,1,1,1,2,3,5,10). If it wins, then reset the session.
• If we have loss here(now real loss), then wait for another virtual loss
• this time we start bets with increase in progression at every step by +3(4,4,4,4,4,4,6,7,9,14).

With above modification, you have following results on the give file:
Win count:42, lose Count: 6 out of 48 qualified sessions(virtual losses)
Net profit is: 3103 on a original bank of 1000 units for 2064 spins.
