Would you have raised pre-flop, if not, would you follow my line on the flop or just how would you attain max. value here?

(thanks in advance for your input, criticize all you want, or maybe agree)

I'm Teach there if you want to follow and have 35+ hands posted. I will continue to post here in hopes of getting more meaningful discussions to ensue.

I think you could make a case of raising preflop but nothing wrong with calling and showing you may be weak the flop turned out to be great for you and I liked the line you took so yes I like every thing you did. sorry I couldnt really add anything diff here

Mandatory raise preflop. You can get called by worse hands (AT, weaker suited Ax, KJ, QJ, JT), you can take down the pot preflop which provides a lot of value... you can c-bet a number of flops to win that way. A lot of value to raising, limping behind isn't going to be -EV but it isn't going to be as profitable as a raise.

the play was a good one i thought, usually the person with the ace king is hard to get rid of, your play was a good one, i would have probably made the same play. played out no king came on turn or river, so you would have won anyways. yet when playing , you never know till the river what the out come will be, as you pointed out to me,. so i like the play, better to win a little than loose a lot.
