Robert. You and I seem to have the same mindset about poker. I have the wrong temprament for poker as I get too angry at people and have to stop playing. I go to video poker to relax. Do you find you can't continue when people donk out on you?

I usually keep going to me its the same as not letting the terrorist win, I will not let a donk determine how much I play poker, i let off steam by watching others play and playing video games and watching netflix and writing in this poker forum.

Robert, may I give you some advice that may serve you well? "Letting a donk determine how much I play poker, or not letting the terrorist win are "mindsets" that won't allow you to deplay a strategy to permit you to defeat them on a regular basis.

What are your stats in mtt's or stt's? What entry fee are you buying in at? Are you mostly talking freerolls and micro stakes? these answers can help me discuss privately how to FIX the leaks or holes in your game and make it more pleasurable to kick their (_!_)'s.

I meant I wont let being bet deter me from playing poker I don not stop playing because I lost that day, I dont give up that easy. I usually play live mostly and lower stakes 25-100 buy ins at best, mostly tourneys. I play some cash at time mostly home games.

Experiencing a streak of no hands in poker can be frustrating, especially when you feel like you're losing money without a chance to win it back. However, it's important to remember that streaks like these are inevitable in any game of chance. Here are some tips to help you deal with a streak of no hands:

    1. Stay patient: Don't rush into playing hands that aren't strong just because you haven't seen good cards in a while. Wait for a good hand to come along before making any big moves.

    2. Manage your bankroll: It's important to have a solid bankroll management strategy in place so that you don't bet away all your money during a streak of bad luck.

    3. Adjust your strategy: If you're not getting good cards, you may need to adjust your strategy. Try playing more aggressively or more passively, depending on the situation.

    4. Take a break: If you're feeling frustrated or anxious, it might be a good idea to take a break from playing for a while. This can help clear your mind and come back with a fresh perspective.
Remember that luck is just one aspect of poker, and there are many other skills involved in being a successful player. Focus on developing your skills and strategies, and the streaks of bad luck will eventually come to an end.
