I guess you could try out same, opposite, same, opposite etc. Stop at 4 units profit.

You can win flat betting but the question is ''Is flat betting the optimal way to play''

The reason I say that is because progressions are just different levels of flat bets and so if you can win flat betting, might there be a better way to go about it and win at a better rate. I am going to do a book review soon and go into that in a bit more detail.

Regarding flat betting, it takes a lot of patience to win using that style and you also require a rock solid betting strategy to go with it.
Sometimes less is more and so for flat betting, I would be looking to play as few hands as possible. My personal flat bet method for baccarat only has around a dozen or so bets per shoe and does ok.

My last 25 shoes flat betting at baccarat.

    1) Break even
    2) Break even
    3) -1
    4) +3
    5) -4
    6) +4
    7) +6
    8) Break even
    9) +4
    10) -2
    11) Break even
    12) -3
    13) +5
    14) -2
    15) +3
    16) +3
    17) -1
    18) +1
    19) +2
    20) +4
    21) +5
    22) +2
    23)Break even
    24) +2
    25) +2

So as you can see, it's not going anywhere quick and you can't get disheartened with a few dips here and there but it climbs overall and that's what matters.

    Good post
Unfortunately most cannot do this, it’s not exciting enough, it’s not challenging enough and it will not satisfy their egos desire to be thought of as special, add any other words that fit.
Most methods will give you the results you posted in this quote, using the essential guidelines you succinctly worded. This base knowledge is far too complex for most, unfortunately, which due to its simplicity most will totally fuck it up to get that adrenaline rush that they really require. For most that post here asking, soliciting , begging for answers to become a winner they are asking for the wrong thing. They are asking for a perpetual cash cow that just pays for any idiotic mistake they make on their never ending quest for that adrenaline rush.

Of course when it fails, using whatever bastardised version of your quoted method here they will post how bad flat betting is, how it can’t be done, how you must be lying etc as per so many people that have posted here so many times on various threads on this forum. I don’t follow other forums but I’m guessing same same same.

All they , anyone, have to do is read your post again and act on its simplicity.
    Cheers

+1.25 units per shoe is pretty doggone good flat betting if you ask me.

Consider another factor as well, some like myself are too damn scared of losing shit-loads in the long run. Which would provide a better way to gamble. I don't think there's any wrong thinking or harm done in that!

I agree with this. It's good to mix it up a bit with some roulette thrown in as well. It helps to keep things fresh and stops it all becoming a bit robotic. As long as the core of the process is maintained, it will work for the most part.

Yep, I do mix things up a bit from time to time and will use a few different MM plans that are my personal favourites just to stop things becoming too robotic.

Today, I went to my nearest casino and played a bit of roulette (no bac there) using the G3M1 MM.
All that consists of is looking for 3 wins in a row starting with 1 unit and if you lose at any stage of those three potential bets, you raise to 2 units after the losing a bet hoping to still catch a 1 unit profit.

The betting strategy was just playing for the dominant colour.

    27 R
18 R (black missing twice and so will play for red)
    21 R W
    5 R W
    17 B L
    18 R W +1
    26 B L
    27 R W +1 (+2)
    9 R W
    33 B L
2 B L -3 (-1) (red missing twice and so will play for back)
    27 R L
    2 B W +1 (breaking even)
    33 B W
    30 R L
    20 B W +1 (+1)
    4 B W
    15 B W
    8 B W +7 (+8)
    19 R L
    29 B W +1 (+9)
    13 B W
    28 B W
    18 R L
    14 R L -3 (+6)

I was happy with that and it was pretty smooth sailing. There are a few caveats you can add above because it will kill you if the 2's are appearing consecutively. The G3M1 has always worked consistently for me and it's worth testing it against your own ideas.

I guess I'll put this here. No, I am not flat betting and I bet B and P and the placements are fixed. I'll leave a shoe for various reasons but it doesn't matter where I pick up the next shoe. Usually I leave the shoe at end of a resolved series or even continue to the next shoe in the progression so leaving can vary.

I was showing a friend my results the other day. Flat bet? He said, "Can you do it? I can't." Neither can I. I'm off for my last vacation in a day or two. I will pick up when I get back. You might be interested in the W/L registry. I usually win more than lose.

    Cheers

With a winning percentage like that Jim, that’s a winner all day long! I think that could be a Yogi Berra quote haha

Is that the string you use? BBBPPP? And reset on a win?

Doesn't he mean triple zigzag? It's not mine. John owes seems to like it okay. I like zigzag double or triple but I don't use it.

yes, bbbppp is my bet selection...

Anyone happen to know if I'll get the same fantastic win % on craps? Pass Line vs Don't Pass??? Over, say, 200 rolls am I going to get 50% singles, 25% doubles, 12% triples, and so forth? I mean their both random, but it seems to me the "randomness" in Baccarat (I mean to say, results in Bac seem to be often a lot more "streaky" to me, and not as "random" how ever you define it) then the TRUE random of throwing the dice?? Not a math guy as you can tell, still, bac shoes just don't seem as random as throwing dice??

I would think that in any “50/50” Chance game you would get those same results 50-25-12-6 etc
