You don't start a new series of 5 after a win? So let's say you have LW you continue it for the next 3 hands even though you are even? Or let's say you have WW you keep playing for the next 3?

 

Yes you are correct. I was just giving an example to show the play. The intricacies of it would be that with the WW you reset. Or an LW would be a reset of that level. I can redo that example if need be.

 

If you can redo the example I would appreciate it. I thought that on level 2 you move to level 3 after 3 losses not 3 hands - from what you mentioned in the "horserace" thread. Unless this is a totally different MM style.

Level 1 Redo:

W +1 (reset)
W +1 (overall +2, reset)
L -1 (overall +1)
L -1 (overall Even)
W +1 (overall +1)
L -1 (overall Even)
L -1 (overall -1 move to L2 because you lost more than 3 of 5 on L1)
L -2 (overall -3)
W +2 (overall -1, reset on L2)
W +2 (overall +1)
L -1 (overall -1)
W +2 (overall +1)
L -2 (overall -1)
W +2 (overall +1 won 3 of 5 after the reset, so move back down to 1-unit level L1)
W +1 (overall +2 which matches your high profit so you would reset on L1 as well since you are already on this level)

Hopefully this makes sense. Not a high escalation of bets, and you get profit off 8 wins and 7 losses)
