Just finished a successful tour and lesson's learned:
    • GoldStrike (Tunica) - crapless 24x7 but regular craps, $15 table, 11 AM to after midnight. Excellent promo in January, 6 nights and $240 in three week long periods.
    • HorseShoe (Tunica) - crapless 24x7 and regular craps, $15 table, 11 AM to after midnight. Weak promo in January, $10 in three week long periods.
    • Fitz (Tunica) - tub (i.e., half sized, single stick+banker, max four players, $10 table, 4 PM to near midnight. Moderate promo in January, 1 night and $70 in week long periods.
    • Hollywood (Tunica) - oversized regular table, not played.
    In Vicksburg:
    • Waterview - single regular table, $10, 4 PM to near midnight. Moderate promo in January 1 night and $70 in week long periods.
    • Riverwalk - regular table, $10, 11 AM to after midnight. Good promo in January, $120 in week long periods.
Curious 'lockout' of promo chips when chips are taken on last day of one period and try to get a second set the next day. It is probably not tied to hotel stay but merits testing.

I tried 'crapless' but never again. I hate the 'seven out' clearing all points. But driving back, I've come up with another approach to model the game.

ps. Sorry if this needed to be moved to another forum.

They don't run the tables 24/7 anymore? Business must be slow.

Parking lots are partially filled. But I use promotions which may be an effort to equalize the load.

Headed to Tunica Monday, Christmas Eve, and return Wednesday, day after. Visiting Vicksburg is optional if I can get a 'comp' room or reasonable rate with free, overnight charging.

Low room rate $40 ($50 with taxes and fees,) drove to Horseshoe. Arrived with 7 miles EV range only to discover both Tesla EV chargers down. One 'no lights' and the other red light complaining of a ground problem. Regardless, both Horseshoe and Gold Strike had $10, regular tables and I played until nap time ... bad decision.

About 10 PM, I found my Tesla range was down to 2 miles (where'd those 5 miles go?) so I drove to Gold Strike and as I parked at a charger, the indicated range flipped to "0". Charging the car, I played $10 craps for a couple of hours and got back to Horseshoe with over 60 miles for another nap.

About 2 AM, drove back to Gold Spike for a longer charge only to find just "crap-less" so I walked over to Horseshoe and played the $10 tables until they closed it down to just one "crapless", legacy $10 player table. Upstairs for another nap and it is 9 AM as I type this note.

Lesson's learned, I will drive down to Harlow's casino at Greenville that I've never been to before. Greenville Oakes Chevrolet has a CCS-1 "Flo" fast DC charger near by but then tend to hog it. Go there during business hours and ask.

With 200 miles range indicated, I'll take the 140 mile, river drive to Harlows. I'll still have enough to reach Vicksburg or return to Tunica via the Grenada SuperCharger even if Oakes "Flo" is unavailable.

ps. When I was 6-7, Mom and Dad would load us five boys in the car and take a day long drive around Oklahoma ... pre-McDonalds. So they'd buy a pound of sliced balogna, loaf of bread, head of lettuce, and miracle whip for sandwiches. Now I'm over 70, Type-2 diabetes, and again, travel with a half pound of sliced ham and smoked cheese to snack on no carb, meat and cheese rolls at the charger. As for driving snacks, 90% dark chocolate and salted peanuts works great.

    Last thoughts before heading home:
    • Vicksburg - the most EV and craps fun. With a mid-sized, magic dock, SuperCharger station, everyone can charge fast and deep. River View casino is a treat as they have three working, J1772 chargers away from main parking and with a tow-away warning. With just one regular table that opens at 5 PM, they have an ad hoc group of regulars who with the staff, makes it comfortably fun. At one point, I was the only player for about half an hour ... a pleasantly fast craps table.
    • Tunica - the decline continues as Horseshoes two Tesla chargers were broke. So all the EVs went to Gold Strike, next door, whose two Tesla and one J1772 were completely over subscribed. Only go to Tunica will a deep charge from a Memphis fast DC charger. Worse, the hated "Crap-less" tables got preferential time.
    • Greenville - with Harlow casino 50 miles from the nearest ones in Vicksburg, only two tables and one with video terminals, a half-sized, camera tables, and not being run. They have a second, regular table but even less used. The "Flo" CCS-1 charger at Oakes Chevy, 44 kW, was the slowest DC charger I've ever used. No need to go there again.
Lesson's learned, Vicksburg is a little further but excellent roads and EV charging along the way. Multiple casinos, there are regular tables although sometimes spotty thanks to "Craps-less." River View is a treat. As for Tunica, being closest is no substitute for quality. Finally, Greenville, survivalist EV charging and gambling.

ps. I personally thanked every staff member, bathroom cleaner to table, for "working Christmas as "their working was a Christmas present to me." Kind words of appreciation spreads much needed cheer.

    Just got back from Vicksburg:
    • Riverwalk - modern building, comped room, late at night, a $5 table with 20x odds. Due to staffing limits, they had half of long table working with a crowd ... waiting. No EV charging but a nice parking garage for shade and shelter.
    • Ameristar - has the Tesla SuperChargers, now relocated, with "magic dock" for both Tesla and CCS-1 charging. It shares the same "tacky" of the Vegas strip and practices (the last time years ago) which is why I don't gamble there. However, they have an RV park, half the local room rates, with 30 A service that can charge an EV ... if the weather is nice.
    • Waterview - my favorite $10 table with at least 5x odds, open ~5 PM to ~midnight. At one point, a stick man pointed out, "You have two DONTs did you mean it?" I answered, "No, I f*cked up" and the player shot a 7 paying both off. The regulars are good players and the table staff friendly and sociable. So when the other player 'colored up,' I said, "My tip is to let you go home early, color." I met him at Riverwalk later. Waterview has two working of three, free EV chargers.
So my Tesla Full Self Driving handled the 809 mi round trip driving. EV charging was $66 and put my winnings in the bank when I got home. Kinda long for an overnight stay, day trip, I look forward to doing again.

You can always take down your Don't bets or ask the dealer to move them to the Do side.

    Thanks!

I am unlikely to do this but nice to know. If I have a don’t plus odds, I would do a PASS bet and hope for a seven. Done this often.
