What’s the longest streak of any bet you’ve seen ?
So like a streak of the same dozen, or the same double street? Or even the same number ?

if we can figure out how far they go wouldn’t it be safe to say we can roughly calculate a due bet ?

I’ve seen the same double street land 7 times in a row meaning all the other streets was due.

Why would "seeing" it matter, if you can just calculate it, betting against a streak is a really bad idea unless you somehow experience an extreme or manufacture it, ie. 12 numbers so technically a dozen that didnt hit in 40 spins.

Streaks are longer when you have a negative expectation. As in even chance roulette bets, pick red or black. They will always have a longer losing streak than red + green or black + green ever will.

Seems obvious but there's more to it. If you remove the green and keep the payouts the same they will have the same expected streak lengths.

The green is the negative expectation, i.e. that's what takes your money.

Your winning streaks will only ever amount to whatever red or black can produce, while your losing streaks will amount to what red+green or black+green can produce - as in longer.

For each consecutive win or loss in the length of the streak you can expect the frequency to drop by about 50%.

There are half as many 3 streaks as there are 2 streaks, etc... It's basically logarithmic..

Knowing this, and that there will always be longer losing streaks than winning streaks you can see how betting on streaks is a losing proposition.

I've run simulations on betting on/against streaks - it's useless and futile.
