How many placed bets do you back up your decision to take this road trip

What utter nonsense by both posters above. The first two posts -- you are banned but willing to share? Note he didn't state WHERE he was banned. Or specifically why.

The third post -- since lines are adaptable, you can't presume what has gone before guarantees anything, so the idea that you have an edge or positive ROI can only be used PAST TENSE. As in "I HAD an edge or this WAS the ROI." Sports lines are not coin flips. The playing field can change dramatically overnight.

I am banned at bwin, unibet, betway, ladbrokes and 2 local bookies. I could split my bets on my several bookies for nearly 3 years + I could also play on my father's account. I was always managing to make, between €10k-€12k a month (max €15k). I staked nearly always between €100-€500 (there were cases that I staked €1000 but not much). I played every day. I did not say that I am magician with 90% win rate but it is good enough to live a good life. The profits, I make from gambling, am I using for stock marketing to try making more of it. I worked for Binance in the past. I don't want waste my or your time, so that's why we help each other.

 

Was a bookie for 40 years . now retired . The only people who win betting sports are the Wise Guys (they get the best #) or steamers as they are called .If your not one of them then you are a losing player !! Guaranteed !!!!! Suggest you read the book by Billy Walters , who was the original Wise Guy and made MILLIONS ,Also now retired !!

 

For the record, I worked (briefly) for Billy Walters. Mr. Walters is quite a character.

You should not refer to ROI for sports betting except in past tense.

No, I was one of the handicappers. I had been recommended to him by a couple of people, one being Marc Lawrence. I think Southern Comfort (a famous private gambler based in Florida) also recommended me. My specialty was college football.

 

I spent about a hundred days a year (college football season) in LV for more than 20 years. I wagered in part for a handful of other people, but not Mr. Walters. Just handling some of the wagering for him would have been a full-time job. Many of the runners out there were carrying hundreds of thousands, while I was carrying just 30K or so most of the time. Most of them were also big guys who were "carrying" (not concealed).

 

I remember back in about 1998 or so i was sitting in Binions downtown Vegas when a very Pretty young girl would go up to window and bet with casino chips (she was wearing an ear piece) and i got friendly with her and she would tell me what to bet and i would hurry to a another window and make my bet . I made some decent money but i had to sit there all day . It was boring as hell , it was like a job . Well one day the vice cops came in and arrested her and i never saw her again . It was a great experience !!

 

What people don't realize is that Binions in the 80's and early 90's took as much action as anywhere, and there were folks staying at Binions during football season from various cities who were there to lay off money and keep the accounting back home good. Binions had some of the highest limits in the city at the time, comparable to Caesars and the Stardust and Little Caesars (yeah, Little Caesars). So you had a whole group of reps from various family-oriented businesses camped there during the season.
