Craps Why Is Maximum Bet On Don't Pass Line So Low?

I've tried craps at several reputable casinos. The maximum bet is generally $5,000 for any bet on the craps table except the Don't Pass Line and the Pass Line. They limit this bet to $65 or $100.

Single-deck blackjack has a maximum bet of $10,000, and the house edge is significantly lower than that of craps.

So why is the maximum bet so small for the Don't Pass Line or Pass Line?

Also, I've played at several Indian casinos that offer bubble craps, where the maximum table bet is $2,000, but the maximum single bet on the Don't Pass Line or Pass Line is $200. Is this true of all bubble crap games?

I play at Winstar in Oklahoma (Indian casino) and your right, it says right on the bubble craps screen MAX BET $2000, but when you try to put anything over $199 on ANY bet, it will not allow you. I've complained to the "gaming commission" about this, and they offer no explanation except that $2000 is a TOTAL amount of bets, NOT an individual bet. I tell them that it doesn't say this, very misleading...
