There are used car salesmen, fisherman, and gamblers. All for what ever reason seam to always skirt around the truth.

The oldest scam in all of gambling is when someone presents themselves as an expert in a given game. They then have willingness to share their knowledge to a point of course but they really are looking for you to question them and show a willingness to invest in them betting for you.

Craps had so called teachers that would show you how to play. You would need a bankroll of x and they would keep 20=30 percent of your winnings. If you lose of course you and them get nothing.

So you invest 1000 dollars and win 1000 they then get to keep 300 could be more or less depending on the agreement.
Some of these same type of guys now operate on baccarat. They have probably always been there and I just never paid attention to them till one showed up on this site. The reason of this post is I just encountered one recently in a local casino.

In all honesty I think they pick up a lot of knowledge on this type of scam in jail. Three that I can think of off the top of my head have stated they have served time and learned how to defeat baccarat while in jail.

If someone is saying they have beaten the game. Really... as long as it has been around you would have been banned if you truly have it beaten. When I say corporate run casinos for the most part have a low tolerance level for winners.... I'm not making that up... read a book or two...

If someone is telling people that they have won millions.. that they are a philanthropist, that they have employed their friends and family and look at the pictures of the millions of dollars they have won. Sadly they are a SCAMMER..

If your reading that betting banker after a player hit is the holy grail of baccarat or using Oscar's grind that has been around forever will win millions YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED....

I know certain posters on this site will say what a loser I am for posting this. But, I'm really tired of the bullshit people post as reality. Chek what they say against the shoes your playing and what your results would be. Please don't try and emulate their stupidity..

Recently there was a post and responses that were accurate and made sense. NO you won't get rich. No not everyone will be successful trying to play how they outlined, but,,,,COMMON SENSE does not make headlines in most gambling discussion boards....

My rant is over if you read this sorry for being such an asshole...

I see your post as having two parts. You are saying that there are a lot of scammers out there that claim to be winning, but are not. I agree with that. there’s a lot of money to be made in scamming Baccarat players, because they are desperate to find anyone that can show them the way. So the scammer that is the best salesman will sell them a system.
The truth of the matter is, winning Baccarat players don’t teach, and players who can’t win consistently do teach. There are a lot of theories that these scammers use to teach that sound good, but don’t work in the real casino, or they work until they fail.there’s a lot more money to be made in playing than in teaching. Players that win do not have a desire to teach. Why would they? Moreover,, Why would you share something that took you forever to figure out? on that note, I want to say that the game of Baccarat is beatable all day long and on a consistent basis. Now you might not believe that, but I’m in a circle of friends/players of which three of us have already passed the 2 million mark. we all play the same way. Now you might say that’s impossible, but it’s not. to name a public figure who you probably all know Micki Mase, has made 30,000,000+. Now honestly, I don’t know what his method of play is nor do I care. But the fact is, that he has in fact, made that money. The Casino doesn’t know what he does, But whatever it is, it works. Otherwise, he would not be banned. Moreover, Regarding your comment that casinos don’t tolerate winners. They do, in fact, tolerate winners to a certain degree. And you can still make several million which is enough to give you a free ride in life until you’re banned.

You brought up a guy that acts all but hurt because a youtuber noted how different his interviews were. Without going into details he is another one that if his mouth is open he is lying. He is also one that served time. Note that one youtuber won a million dollars betting with him..His partner went back and lost a million. The one that won never said he took a cut. He may have played just for the publicity that he relishes. It's there take a look. On other sites he was known in Vegas to charge a commission for playing for people.

He has never been entirely truthful in anything he has stated as far as wins and losses. Where his poker money came from has been discussed in several places and many people don't believe him. If you and a handful passed 2 million I would say good for you. If I remember correctly I think you've said before you used to be on beat the casino. I have personally seen some of those guys as well as played with others that have been with them at events and they don't seem to know any more than the average player. Any of them hitting 1 million would be questionable.

On Micke Mase, my feeling is that he bets big and the casino got scared out at the top. I saw a large online sportsbook / casino do this once, on a lesser scale. This would be similar to a stock market investor getting scared and selling at the bottom when they should be buying.

Probably if the casino had let Mase continue betting, he would have lost most or all of it back. Instead now he can boast the rest of his life about being banned from baccarat at the casino without even having to bet at all.

Apparently he had someone with him whenever he played to “ control” his emotions, track his money and prevent him from going on tilt.

Casino's actually did let him play for over 1 1/2 years or I believe maybe more time until they turned on him because he kept winning and they couldn't figure him out. He was comped everything in that time, the most expensive villas(I believe $30k a night), shows, a jet, etc.

I though he was full of shit but it was real.

Micke doing an interview in a casino playing blackjack while being filmed.

"I've been banned from every casino on the planet"

while in a casino being interviewed and playing blackjack in an actual casino.

Dana White was funny discussing Mikki getting banned. He was saying no one ever gets banned. Then in another video he was saying he got a letter banning him from a casino because he won quite a bit from them. Years ago there was a show on fox network with two friends who with a couple investors bought the nugget in vegas and refurbished it. The one guy was business and his partner handled the gambling.
I don't remember if this was on the show but I read the ones book some time later. He was talking about a craps player hitting them hard every friday night with his crew. His partner who handled the casino end wanted him to keep coming back because he said he will lose it all in one night.

Well they ended up telling the guy he couldn't play there anymore. It was because he was affecting their monthly take and they were trying to sell the casino. Yeah he was hurting them that bad. It killed the gambler partner because it wasn't that long later that the player dropped it all at another casino.

The majority of casinos have different ways of looking at certain things. But the corporate ones I play at are so tight they squeek.
Remember the mattress king out of Texas. When he made his big super bowl bet he had to call around to find a casino that would take the bet. It made all the news that a family owned casino in Diberville Ms took the bet. Great publicity for both parties. And if I remember correctly he lost.
