The count is +6, and you’ve been following a conservative betting strategy so far. The next hand feels important, and you’re considering increasing your bet. How do you determine the correct amount to increase it to, and why?

With a +6 count, it's a good time to increase your bet. Since you’ve been betting conservatively, try 1.5x to 2x your normal bet. For example, if you usually bet $10, go for $15–$20. This takes advantage of the favorable deck without being too risky. Keep it smart and controlled!

With a +6 count, you’re in a favorable position, so it’s smart to increase your bet. Since you’ve been following a conservative strategy, you don’t want to go too wild. A good rule of thumb is to increase your bet by 1.5x to 2x your normal bet. For example, if your regular bet is $10, you could raise it to $15 or $20.

The reason for this is that a higher count means more high cards are left in the deck, increasing your chances of hitting strong hands and blackjack. But since you're sticking to a conservative approach, you want to increase the bet cautiously while still taking advantage of the favorable deck.

If you were counting, you should have been ramping up the size of your bets as the true count increased. At +6 you should bet your maximum bet. If your spread is 1-8 units, you should bet eight units at TC +6, because the shoe is rich.

Card counting doesn't improve your chance of winning a hand.
